I love Anchor Hocking dishes! I have ordered more than a half dozen cases in various sizes. I scoop directly from the Instant Pot into the glass dishes and put them immediately into the freezer. After frozen, I put them straight into the microwave (after removing the lids). They say not to do this but I have had zero problems. They are very durable and totally dishwasher safe. The blue lids are less durable than then the green lids. When using immediately after removing them from the freezer, run the lid under cool or warm water and the lid will become flexible and thus will not crack. I wish I had learned this sooner; I have numerous blue lids with their centers split open or edges cracked and a few that are completely destroyed.

So far so good on these, although they haven’t been in use very long. I’m replacing all my plastic with glass and these do the job. I haven’t had any issues with the lids so far. I’m guessing these will be very durable/sturdy as they were shipped in only their Anchor Hocking box which had no packing materials, Aircap, or anything-just the bowls tightly packed. There were no chips, cracks or broken pieces. I’ve been happy with all of the sizes, I just wish they nested a little better.

These are a great size for leftovers, which is mainly what I use them for. I have a 2-cup one (same make) but found a smaller size to be more what I needed. I had a couple of similar Pyrex bowls with lids, but the lids were extremely difficult to remove. (I gave those away.) I did not have this problem with my 2-cup Anchor Hocking -- nor do I have this issue with the one-cup size. I bring this up because one reviewer recommended a different type of storage bowl because these lids were so difficult to remove.I am a senior with both arthritis and neuropathy in my left hand, but I am able to remove these lids without a fuss. I suspect that the other reviewer may have been unaware that plastics contract in the fridge or freezer. When you take them out, you have to give the plastic a few minutes to "relax"; you can even help it along by warming it with your hands. This makes lid removal MUCH easier. (I have all-plastic containers in the freezer and the same is true of them.)One other note: I would advise against using these lids in a microwave oven. Plastics aren't suited for that. I would suggest getting a set of silicone bowl lids to use instead. Even if you don't have one that's a perfect fit, you can always use one that's a bit oversized. That way you won't have to worry about warping these lovely plastic lids.Caveat: another reviewer mentioned leakage. I can't speak to that, as I don't use these bowls to store liquids. If there is sauce, it remains in the bottom of the bowl and I don't tip it sideways.Whew! I didn't expect to leave such a lengthy review. Bottom line: I recommend these!

The 4 Cup container - the Goldilocks of leftovers, just right for 2 servings. It's a breeze to tidy up, and if you ever misplace a lid, fear not, replacements are on easy order.Sturdy but not flimsy, this container is my go-to for daily use and I even ended up snagging a second set.It's a multitasking champ, taking on fridge and microwave duties without breaking a sweat. I prefer handwashing due to my pesky well water, but cleaning is a breeze - no long soaking sessions necessary.My collection is a mix of sizes, but the 7 Cup, 4 Cup, and 2 Cup bowls are the real MVPs. Say goodbye to dingy plastic containers - elegance only in my kitchen!

Size is great, but only 4 stars because the lids seem cheap and thin, and are extremely tight, so I'm afraid they will break every time I put one on/take one off.

I have had a set of 6 of these for around six months. They are very sturdy and are great for a variety of food (or other) storage needs. This only issue was with a few of the lids becoming cracked and difficult to place on the glass base. No problem at all -- Anchor Hocking replaced the lids at no charge and everything is working like new. Great product with great customer service!

I keep my raw chicken breasts and meat separate from anything else in the fridge and freezer.Sometimes I needed to re-arrange to fit something else in and had no place to keep the raw things.These solved the problem.Each one is big enough to hold about a 1.5 lb. package of ground beef or a package of 3 chicken breasts.I set out however many I need with clean hands.When I get my groceries, I set a package of raw meat in each one, wash my hands and add the lids.Then I set it in the fridge (if I am using it soon) or the freezer.The lids are quite thin, and they are hard for me to remove once frozen. That's the only negative.Then, no matter what is near or on the container, nothing is contaminated by the raw meat, as it is contained.Plus, they can be used for so many other things - baking and reheating. Storing leftovers. Serving.Very versatile.They seem strong and well made.I am so glad I found them.

I bought these to replace older Anchor glass storage container after those differently-designed lids wore out after a couple years of use. You can't buy replacement lids for those so I bought all new. The cheap plastic lids of these are horrible. By design, they are too thin and difficult to put on and take off. And after handful of times through the dishwasher on the top rack, they are warped, began to crack and tear, and are now unusable. That's after maybe 6 mos. of use. It's difficult to impart how unbelievably cheap and crappy these lids are. If they were any thinner or cheaper, they would evaporate before arrival. I'd recommend trying any brand other than Anchor as I will going forward.

Great quality with solid lids. The package arrived with one container cracked during shipping. Contacted Anchor Hocking customer service via Amazon link and received replacement in a couple of weeks. Will buy more.

I returned the first set because of cracked glass on edge. The replacement set has a bad lid.Not sure this product goes thru any quality checks.This product is a waste of money do not buy
