Apple iPod touch 128GB Silver (6th Generation) (Renewed)

My girlfriend is a lover of the touch. She is very happy with this one.

I am trying to repost my review, since it was apparently taken down by Amazon after it was posted. For me, this was a complete disaster, and what I experienced had little to do with "Trusted coverage", "Quality you can afford", and "Products you can trust", as advertised by Amazon. Knowing that ipod touch batteries are a tricky issue, the first I was doing before even setting it up was to fully charge it, and then see whether it could hold the charge. It could not and was entirely depleted overnight after disconnecting it from the charger, without any activity whatsoever. I returned it immediately, and requested a replacement, which was promptly delivered. Even before unpacking, I noticed that the cardboard box the ipod came in was soaked in some liquid. After opening the box, I noticed that it came from the device itself, likely from a defective battery pack. Essentially, five minutes after being delivered, I requested yet another return. This episode was really inacceptable, and a waste of my time. Amazon should really spend more time checking the quality of these refurbished items.

It works perfectly just like it was brand new just as described. I use it everyday at work for 2 shifts, and the battery lasts a long time. I love it.

The battery is charged and will last several hours but it's always red so we don't know when it will die.

This is an update on this device. I had previously rated it 5-star, because it worked fine when I first got it. But in less than two weeks with only light use, the battery failed and won't hold a charge. Since this is a refurbished item, I figure the battery is old and faulty and was not replaced. This is a shame, since I liked the device. This was my third iPod touch.

I bought this to replace an exact duplicate that was purchased years ago but the face had cracked . . . . still works but the face is cracked. Not a fan of Apple and here's an example as to why. Music that I had put on the original unit and had been purchased through iTunes transferred in to the new unit with no problem. BUT . . . . . music that I put in to the original unit that was not purchased through iTunes can not be transferred in to the new unit. Those CDs are long gone so that music will never get on the new unit. I bought a screen protector for the old unit and don't bother using the new unit. For this reason, I give Apple only 2 stars !!!
