Excellent product & value -- dash is like new
Very happy so far. Time will tell, of course. I ordered the Agate color, which was a perfect match for my 2001 Ram 1500 dash. The texture is a perfect match also. After removing from the box, I slipped it into place and my wife thought it was almost perfect as was.The only trimming I did to the cover was to open the holes for the original dash mounting screws up near the windshield. I used an Xacto knife -- the material is pretty thin there -- and I could probably have done a slightly neater job. This was probably an unnecessary step -- something else will likely be the demise of this 17-year old truck before I need to remove the dash. But even my less-than-perfect-holes will never be noticed. The one tube of silicone adhesive did not seem like enough. I actually used another full 3 oz tube, so twice as much as supplied. That probably means I put on too large a bead, but given how permanent this was going to be I went with the "if some's good, more's better" rule. Almost no adhesive leaked out anywhere. If I did it again I would use a cartridge and caulking gun to make it go a bit faster and err on the safe side. The extra $10 will be down in the noise relative to purchase price and time. The time spent was really pretty minimal. I did glue all of the loose dash pieces together the day before. Did minimal cleaning with Windex on all surfaces. The actual installation after applying the glue was less than 30 minutes. That includes all the little corner fitting and blocking with cardboard and such. I left it overnight, and the next day the dash was like new. After driving for a few days there were no rattles or squeaks. (At least not from the dash!) The fit is close to perfect -- the level isn't *exactly* right in a couple places, but I'm being incredibly picky here. Like after you spend days to pick a new color for the living room, the agonizing will all be irrelevant in a week. You will never notice or think about it. It's as good as a new dash. How it holds up over the miles and sun is another issue. I'm in Georgia, so sun is definitely an issue.Update: A couple months and a 3,000 mile trip later, all is still fine. People that have looked at it could not tell it was a cover even after I pointed that out. And still no rattles. (From the dash...) All in all, this was a great improvement for a great old truck. Recommended.Update 2: Four years later (9/2021) and it is still like new. No problems, no rattles, nothing but good. I would buy another, but the Dodge just keeps on truckin' so there may never be a need!

Fits perfectly
So easy to install much less than it would cost if you went to someone to have it done. Color was perfect and it went in like it had come in the truck.

Great Product - Use Your Total Amount of Glue Wisely
1999 Dodge Ram 1500The color match is 100% on. This fits perfectly over the dash and looks great. It sits slightly higher (1/4 inch) on the original dash over the gauge area, but that doesn't matter and you don't notice after a month.A couple of tips:Do a pre-fit so you can think about how you are going to slide it on without getting glue on the parts outside of the cover.Use your glue wisely - think about where it needs more, where it needs less and how an excess of glue can be taken off if it oozes out (rubbing alchohol.)Use your glue wisely (part 2) - I did this with a glue-happy friend and 80% of the way through putting the glue on, he ran out. So we had to take a popsicle stick to move glue around. It would have been better if we did a thin line around the needed areas with 80% of the glue, then thought where we might need more (like in the middle of the parts that extend vertically and on the corners.) It worked out fine, but there was a little stress there.Think ahead of time about what weights/pressure you are going to use where to hold the piece on the dash as it dries overnight. Then get those weights out + 20% more. We DID have a discussion about that and it saved us some stress instead of going, "Oh wait, we need more pressure/weight here before the glue sets!!"This is a great product!!

Good Fit
Easy to install, good color match and good fit. I was able to install it by myself2 items.1. You will want to think about finding a brace for the front to allow the silicone to set. I used some wood and pulled the seat close to hold the front in place2. You will not be able to access the front dash screws if you need to remove the dash for any reason unless you drill into the skin.

dash
Perfect fit.Arrived earlier than expected. Color is a little off compared to the rest of the interior of my truck but that is ok since it has a dash cover.Really appreciate that the company called to make sure that I was ordering the right part and color. I own 2 Dodge trucks and ordered the same part for both in different colors.
