Worked perfectly for my grinding project
I needed to grind some adhesive off the back of some loose floor tiles (so old that I couldn't get replacements). After looking around, I really didn't want to pay over $40 for a grinding wheel, when I found this concrete grinding wheel. For the price, I figured I'd give it a try. I'm very impressed! In fact, I had to be careful, as this wheel worked so well. Since it comes with a 20mm ID (arbor hole), I hesitated -- until I read that it comes with an adapter "ring" to neck it down to fit on a 16mm (5/8") arbor. Now, it's a little tricky fitting the adapter ring, but it only took me a few seconds. So, for the price I'd recommend this as a great alternative to the more expensive wheels. My guess is that it'll work well on concrete/masonry for small jobs. Recommended.

Worked great.
Used to grind down super old cement and it did its job. Didn’t wear down all that much so I get to save for the next job.

Would have given 5 stars except I didn't receive a blue one. Gold instead
I'm a bit of a stickler for buying what is advertised. In this case though, I do not think that the blue one could possibly be more effective and solid than the gold one I received. Seriously, I bought it because it seemed ridiculous to spend $40-60 at local big box places. And earlier in the day of My order I paid $30 at the harbor place but didn't use it and the next day my needs were more than met with this one. Using it to grind and level a cement product that I used in preparation to lay vinyl planks. Must use with dust shroud attached to shop vac. But it grinds the cement so precisely and consistently and has not faltered in the least after my guess is 4 solid hours over 8 sessions. Super product.

Great value, did the job
I have an old front concrete stoop which was coated with layers of paint (but also had peeled and ugly bare spots). I used this on a 4-1/2 angle grinder to grind away the old paint and level off the worn spots. It even took care of the original marks left by the boards when it was poured over 60 years ago.Bottom line, the stairs and landing look better than ever before. (I would have to paint them every few years.) This wheel did the job and was 1/3 the cost of a similar wheel at a big box store. Plus there is plenty of life left to tackle the next job. One warning: a ton of dust is created and may cause your grinder's life to be cut short unless you blow out the dust. Be sure to wear protection gear, especially a mask.

Just what I needed!
The 26 year old concrete around my in-ground pool is very rough from the acid rain eating at the mortar and leaving the harder sand at the surface. It is painful if you fall on it (grand kids running around) and it cuts up the pads on my dogs feet (running and diving for toys). I used this grinding wheel on a small area and it works like a charm to level and smooth the rough surface. I have just started using this wheel today so I cannot attest to how long it will last. I will be planing to purchase more grinding wheels as I need them.

Good grinder for the money (could be a little deeper
I put in a pad for an outdoor shower that was not draining as well as I hoped I bought this to grind some of the concrete to assist in draining. The grinding wheel works pretty well and removes material as one would expect. After using for about 45 minutes the wheel still had over 1/2 of the "teeth" remaining, however the dish on this tool is not very deep and the center stud of the grinder starting contacting the concrete. I continued to use the grinder (tilting it slightly) but the center stud continued to hit the concrete causing damage to the center stud. (Dewalt 20v angle grinder). I like this grinding wheel for the cost and I actually bought another one to finish the job, but I wish that it was deeper so the stud on the grinder didn't contact the surface before the wheel was worn out.

works well
I have a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder and was concerned the nut wouldn't secure the wheel to the arbor, but it did hold and I accomplished my project. This would not be the best wheel to use everyday, but for a small project, it works perfectly and is cost effective. This cuts very well. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I could level a 2'x2' square.
