Does not Work on Kohler KT17QS engine.
The cam lever has to travel too far compared to the original fuel pump. It seems to work well when tested on the bench. But when installed into the engine will not pump fuel due to the cam in the engine not having enough lift for the lever design.ENGINE is a Kohler KT17QS and is on a 1985 Wheel Horse mower.I was however able to use the large internal spring from it to replace the spring in the old pump. That worked well.

Most leaks are caused by fitting install errors.
Bought for Kohler M16 and works fine. Installed, tested and leaked at fitting, removed and reset fitting, tested and still leaked. Removed a third time and changed the fitting and NO leaks. Make sure they are seated properly. Can't comment on longevity. Saw a YouTube video that took apart three different manufactures pumps. The OEM Kohler had better internal check valves than the others. If I were to buy again, I would spend the extra money and by the OEM Kohler.

I installed one of these pumps 2 years ago, it failed last week, since the OEM pumps looks exactly like this one, I mounted ane lectric pump on my mower this time.

Pump gave out after 2 months
Cut the grass a handful of times and worked perfectly until it gave out ( approx 8 hours total time). Have contacted the seller for a replacement but seller is unreachable. Will change review if I receive a new item that works.

Garbage
This fuel pump leaked at the connections and cant be returned becuse its now dangerous cargo (fuel). Also the included tool is not the correct tool, it just a snap ring it will damage the housing. It will pump fuel as indicated but it will lesk every where....a full refund is expected!

Got this for the argo.. fuel filter was cracked out of box. Junk quality. It all fits, it's just junk.
