Great little strainer
Fits perfectly on any wide mouth jar! Very stable and can be filled without having to hold it! I thought it was so tiny when it arrived but I love it! If I was milking cows maybe it would be small but for goats it’s perfect. Great strainer that doesn’t take up a lot of space in my kitchen! No seams and easy to clean! Bright stainless steel!

Great little filter
I had to replace my old Busy Liz milk filter that I'd had for about 50 years and bought this one. It's far better than what I used to have, and I'm really happy with it. Not only that, but it uses the same size filters as my milking machine. I plan to use this filter for straining milk strippings from my does in the milking parlor, so it has a permanent place in my routine,m plus I can use it for canning as well. Great item! Thanks!

Great prosaic
At first I was not impressed. The filter was not filtering well and after several attempts to screw the bottom on, it would pop off at times. Turns out the order of the paper filter matters a great deal. Once I started putting the paper disc on followed by the metal disc and ring, it worked perfectly!

The coupler won't fit onto the strainer. Threads not deep enough. Don't buy!
This doesn't work! My goats just delivered their babies this week and after the initial use (pad was already installed for the first use), I couldn't re-attach the bottom piece back onto the strainer. My husband tried and finally said that the threads aren't deep enough. The strainer worked well the first time, but after washing all pieces and adding a clean filter, we COULD NOT re-attach the bottom piece. I wanted to return this, but now see that I missed my window period to return it. I'm not happy about that. DON'T BUY THIS! It's going in my scrap metal pile.

Fits 1-gallon milking bucket perfectly!
This has been great. I was using a reusable coffee filter, but this filters more finely without being too slow like a disposable coffee filter. I popped off the side handle so that I can set this in my bucket while I milk. The rim sits perfectly on the lip of my 1-gallon Lindy's bucket so that there's no gap for dirt or hair to fall into the milk. I'd rather keep stuff out in the first place than filter it out later, although I do filter it a second time when it goes into the jar just to be sure.

Slow and sharp
The filters that come with are very slow especially if you have high butter fat, parts are sharp suggest using washcloth to turn have cut my fingers with the bottom piece that screws on
