I think this is the best option for dual usb c charging available as of right now . I really like the fact the ports are horizontal and not vertical.I have also purchased another 36 watt dual usb c outlet for Amazon for comparison ( the only other dual usb c wall outlet available on Amazon ) and while the single port output is 6 watts higher on single port and 3 watts higher when both ports are used, the build quality is definitely not the same( also slightly hums at night when I had my devices plugged in ). The only problem I have with this product is the price and the wattage.I think this product would be perfectly priced at 30 dollars. I would also love to see a 50 watt version for around 50 , or a 40 watt at 40. Excellent product overall definitely the best choice in the market currently. I really like this product because it decluttered my night stand and doubled my ports. Looking towards the future for a better product as more and more people make the necessary switch to all usb-c. 4.5 stars

I used this to build a custom charging station for devices. It works great and had thoughtful options for wiring during the install. The AC outlet itself is pretty stiff and takes a bit of force to plug into. Maybe it will loosen up over time. The USB-C charges an iPad Pro just fine and delivers enough power to slowly charge a laptop if it is not demanding a lot of power.

These USB-C charging outlets are almost identical in specs to my other Levitons that I have all over the house. The only difference if the horizontal orientation of the USB-C ports vs vertical on the Leviton. 30W can be delivered to one outlet or 15W if using both at the same time. One charges a MacBook Air without any issues. It will charge/maintain larger MacBooks, but at a slower pace. I never had an issue with overheating and the onboard processor seems to do a good job balancing the charge level. They also fit in an older style electrical box (house was built in the '70s), despite being a bit larger than your standard outlet. Pretty happy with those overall, especially considering the price point.

Although these receptacles are sturdy, they are fairly large and you need to make sure that there's enough space in your circuit box for this things. they are basically full height and have a solid depth of about 1.5-2" which if you are tight on space makes them extremely difficult to install. No wire nuts are needed as you just attach the wires directly to the unit via screws on the receptacle.

Works great. I can charge iPads, and still plug in two regular power plugs.

From the specification it should be able to charge my ultrabook, but it doesn't. Works great for phones and tablets.

The 6A power rating is divided between both USB ports, meaning that you only get 3A per USB port. Fine for fast charging devices, but not enough power for a HomePod mini, which is what I was hoping for.

I bought this outlet because I stopped using USB type A cables and power adapters to charge my devices. I found this outlet very convenient. Unfortunately one of the USB type C ports stopped working after some month I installed the outlet, and I didn't even used that port frequently (or used it at the same time that the another one).

returned the item , my cellphone was asking for 11hrs to charge (samsung S10 )tested with like 3 cable.it output fast charge for like 2-4 secand then the charge drop back to Fred flintstone speed ...do not waist your time or money
