Design Toscano Basking in Glory Little Girl with Birds Outdoor Garden Statue, Medium, 16 inches tall, Cast Stone Resin, Two Tone Stone Finish

I really am glad I got this little girl, arms outstretched where birdies are perched.

Placed her in my flower bed in front yard. Lots of compliments. Love her size. The 18 in. was plenty for my 4x4 ft. garden. Love the fact she is " basking in God's glory," so sweet! Placed gorilla glue on tops of arms where they connect to body so they don't fall off. Also , I repurposed a hanging decor sign from Dollar Tree. This is about 16 in long and 4 or 5 in wide. Turned it over and painted it grey, applied statue using gorilla glue in middle of board. Placed a small flowerpot on either side for stability. We get a lot of wind at times. Don't want her to tip over and break. It is very stable and I don't have to worry. I just love her and this is exactly what I was looking for. So glad they made it affordable. Could never afford cement one and would be too heavy. N.E. Pa. cold winters so I could just pick her up and store her with board attached. Easy Peasy

Nicely detailed, and the girl is simply beguiling. Looks great in the garden - we paired it with the boy fishing which makes for a nice little scene - all who've seen them ask where we found them. I told one old buddy a long story about the artist and I - how I befriended him when he was homeless and how he gifted me this original work. I can spin a yarn, and he bought it until it became ridiculous, when I said, "but you can just buy one on Amazon if you like." It was funny, but you just had to be there.I now have a total of five Design Toscano statues in the garden, the other three almost twice the height of the girl - well, one is a little more than twice to be accurate. I also ordered two friezes from them. You get a very nice, classic look with DT statues. And lots of compliments, even in a garden that gets plenty of the same on its own. But when a new visitor rounds the corner of the house to step into the back garden the first thing they see is the girl and boy posed together and they stop in their tracks as they absorb the scene, usually with a gasp.They just don't see it coming, and want to know how we keep the garden so nice and where did you get those wonderful statues. Our recent landscaping project turned out nice indeed, and Design Toscano adds to the impact. Not affiliated with them in any way, just love their product. They ship fast, and respond to inquiries - someone there understands how to serve a customer.The statues themselves are light enough to carry/move, but heavy enough to stand up in Okie winds. Highest recommendations for product and seller quality.

Using construction adhesive, we installed the statue on one of our privacy fence brick columns. Very nice statue and piece of yard decorum. We painted it a bronze color which really enhanced its overall appearance. Great image detail and is lightweight. It's held up in all types of weather, including Alabama's summer heat. I believe you'll be pleased with this purchase.

I purchased the smaller size. 18" sounded tall, but she looks smaller in person. Maybe because she is thin. The body, birds and arms look okay.I am not sure how the arms will hold up. There is a metal peg at the end of each arm that slides into the body of the statue. I understand why some reviewers said they used glue to hold the arms in place.In my opinion, her face needs some work. The expression just doesn't express awe and joy the way I would like. Admittedly, I am fussy about faces. I will sort through a lot of "identical" items to find the one with the best expression. The facial expression sets the tone.If purchasing this statue for an outdoor garden, the bigger statue might be a better choice. Her expression may be a little different as well.I like the idea of her, but I am taking off a star because her expression doesn't quite nail it.

So pretty!Gift for my sister who placed it in her garden and there is looking just great. She loved it. Very well-made.

Well made and details are exceptional. Size and weight will make it perfect for our flower garden.

Oh, how I loved this statue... until we discovered that both arms would not install tightly, falling out at the slightest bump. I would have given this a 5 star rating except that without fixing it yourself, it is unusable. We put a good amount of Gorilla Glue in the arm hole prior to installing the arm. We used a rubber band placed between the birds closest to the body on each side to hold the arms tightly in place. We then let it cure for 24 hours. It is perfect and sturdy now, we love it.

Beautiful statue small but excellent detail as aways with Tuscany items , unfortunately for me within a couple of days of me getting this I dropped something from a above windowsill and it fell and broke in half but have gllued it and as a clean break other than myself nonoe should know so needs care where to place this originally mine was to go outside but too nice so I put it in my porch and to be honest in light of the bad weather we have had recently I don't think she would be oversafe outside as not over heavy but lovely all the same
