Screws
Yep, they are screws, but if they don't need to be flush, these are great. It came with a nut driver tip and really are the easiest screws to put in that I have ever used with joist hangers and sill plates.

Doesn't fit in the included bit
I purchased these for installing joist hangers, there is an issue with the head size, and they do not fit in the included bit (or other bits that I had in my tools). Made it frustrating to work with. I only used about 50 of them on this project now I'm stuck with another 450 of junky screws...

Perfect length for tie-plates in 2x4 construction
I have twisted the heads off a couple of these, but I was drilling into 160 year old oak heartwood so it's not too surprising.Also, my construction will now be up to code!
