Excellent. Woud def buy again.
Bought two of these, one each for front and rear door. Very well made, do an excellent job, pretty simple install - 1) measure and mark existing deadbolt and latch strike plates' tops and bottoms, then remove, 2) punch out the rectangular piece you need to let your current deadbolt go through the main/center reinforcement plate, 3) carefully mark screw holes on the jamb for that plate, 4) predrill holes, 5) attach w/ screws, and 6) do the same for the top and bottom reinforcements, noting that they lap under the main/center plate.I spent a lot of time looking at the various products. This is very well designed and made, and a much better price/value than anything I saw. They reinforce the door jamb with ten 3" screws. No way anyone will kick the door in on the latch side, and no more relying on four 1" screws you probably have holding the deadbolt strike plate to the jamb. One (to me) small point - the little reinforcers for the door-side latch and deadbolt hardware didn't fit my door. Too tight to get on the door, and if I did, they would would add enough thickness that the door wouldn't properly close. No big deal to me - the jamb side is much more important - and the product for that app alone is a great value.Sorry this is long. Detail can be useful.

Excellent Product
Fit perfectly and the kit included everything needed. Door closes better than before and feels secured.

An Easy Upgrade
This was an easy to install upgrade that really makes my door feel much more solid. It fit right over the jamb and looks nice. Long screws make it super secure. I feel like someone would have a tough time kicking it open now. My only gripe is that the paint seems to scratch easily. But it's easy enough to touch that up.

Fantastic product!
Pricing -Similar products are $100 or more so this is a steal! I was able to get two for less than the price of one! 5/5Packaging - Comes with more than is seen in the pictures (actually has two deadbolt/knob protectors.) Old school plastic packaging so definitely not hassle free, but I guess that's expected from a security company 5/5Design -The jamb parts are double layered which is interesting, but you quickly see why since if one layer fails then the second is still there. If you have double studs or a 4x4 then you'll quickly wish the kits came with at least a 4" drill bit since normal bits don't go far enough with makes you have to give extra effort in-order to get the screws in without stripping them. Other than that, setup is fairly simple so once you do one part, you'll breeze through the rest. The only confusing part was keeping up with all of the different screws for each part (instructions don't specifically say what goes with what.)The design itself is great. As with anything the more screws you add, the more strength it has, so the same applies here. It almost spans the entire length of the jamb & there's numerous 3" screws throughout. It has multiple options for regular locks as well as mortise locks. After setting everything up I gave the door a few shoulder shots, kicks & punches to test (I'm a big guy)... it didn't budge an inch! Not to mention both the steel & paint job are very high quality! 5/5Overall this is a surprisingly great product. The only thing missing is hinge protection which is a huge let down. Other than that it is easy to install & extremely sturdy. We'll see how it fairs against an actual break-in.5 out 5 stars

Not the kit to use if you have an electronic or oversized deadbolt.
Ive been steadily upgrading the security of my house. My budget allowed for me to get to reinforcing the doors this month. I already had large screws and bottom barricades on all the steel outside doors, but I wanted to reinforce the remaining week points. I have 5 metal door, I started with a $90 kit from another company (which I wont endorse by name). I got the kit, I installed it on my front door. I had some issues with the special bit they sent with the kit (the drill bit... bit the dust about 6 screws in), however I had another in the garage and finished the door. The kit fit perfectly.I then went on amazon to order a few more. Then I saw this one for a fraction of the price and just jumped on it. I just got that kit today and went to install it on another metal door. It wont fit in the door jamb without some modifications (which I absolutely dont want to perform). I then tried fitting the "edge guards???", (part E in the item diagram). I slide them onto the door frame to see how they would fit and I was not able to put them flush to the door. It presses right up against the deadbolt and the door knob hardware, with a good half inch gap between where one would screw into part E and the actual door. So for Door number 2, I couldnt use any of the pieces from this kit. I tried door number 3 next. For door number 3 I did the same process of openeing the door and fitting the individual pieces (without drilling). I had the same issue with the edge guards Part E, however I was able to use the long door frame reinforcements.I then fit everything on to door number 4. All the pieces fit well enough for me to consider screwing them into the door. Out of curiosity I tried door number 5 and it fit there too.So 2 out of 4 doors didnt fit part E and 1 didnt fit the door frame.I admit this is more my fault than the manufacturers. Fact is its not the manufactures fault at all. This is a solid door reinforcement kit as far as I can tell. However after randomly buying "that other $90 kit", I figured I could randomly buy this as well. The other kit seems to be one that you can buy and it will almost certainly fit your door. You'll want to measure and be prepared to make modifications for this kit. If you're handy then its probably worth the savings. My analysis is pretty simple, Part E wont fit on a door with a larger than normal deadbolt. It is made to press right up to that tiny deadbolt circle size. All of my doors with electronic locks or heavy duty deadbolts rejected part E. Since I plan on upgrading all my locks to this electronic the Schlage Camelot Keypad Deadbolt https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001RFMDHU/. This kit will not work with that on my doors. You have a standard door with a standard deadbolt and decent spacing between the door frame and the door edge, this could be the best kit for you.

Solid design
Works well. Extremely solid design. Easy enough to install and handled the issue I was having. Only minor complaint is make sure everything is lined up correctly. Having to take a bunch of pieces off to fix a misaligned hole can be frustrating.

Provides great reinforcement
When I ordered it I was skeptical that it would even fit, since our garage door is 20 years old and every time I have to replace the deadbolt or door handle it takes far longer than necessary because nothing seems to fit right. But this installed with a minimum of fuss. Its design clearly reinforces the entire door jam because of the overlapping design of the pieces. It took a few minutes to figure it out because the instructions are a little ambiguous and in really small font. But otherwise, once I got it figured out it installed easily. Very good product. Two thumbs up.

Good and very affordable but tricky install
Very good and most affordable product of this kind. Very subtle when installed properly. The only negative thing is that can be tricky and involved to install. The statement that it can be installed in minutes is quite misleading. It could if you have the perfect circumstance but most door frame will need to be modified to fit because most door won’t have enough spacing for this to be intalled without preventing the door to close. I was thinking of finding a door mortise jig but they are usually made for the door itself and would not have fit on the jamb. But I hear you all screaming at me "real dude/dudette use a chisel!", and I have no problem pulling out my chisel for this, but it would not have worked for my door and I ended up having to cut a groove using a rotating tool. It wasn’t so bad, but does thake a bit of time to properly do for the full lenght required. It would have been an easier install if the metal plate was just flat and if there wasn’t one if the edge bent at a 90 % angle. But if you go in with the idea that the install won’t be as easy as screwing it on, you shouldn’t be disapointed. You can barely notice it is there. Once the extra groove space will be filled with white caulking, I bet you won’t see it at all. It is very sturdy. People who worry about the thickness lf the metal plate don’t really understand how it work, it would take quite a bit of repeated brute force and prying to go through the metal and pull the very long screw going to the stud. Of course, a thief would just need to break one of the windows around the area but then its a different kind of motovation and most low level thief won’t bother and will move on to an easier target.

Solid product
Not too hard to install but be sure to shim your door frame to the studs before using long screws to attach everything. Feels like it should leave your door pretty kick resistant when coupled with something to reinforce the lock area of your door.

Repair exterior door jamb.
The kit worked well, but it was difficult shaving the door jamb to make more clearance to accomodate the repair kit. I was able to use a router remove mosts of the material, and then a chisel to clean up the job.
