Some days I am questioning why the factoid is the most important thing that day in history. Some of the phrasing is slanted and/or doesn't tell the full facts.

Love this and all the facts it includes!

My history buff 13 year old has this calander. He was not too happy that one of the days was the DOD for Heath Ledgers overdose. Like he said, "could they not think of something more historical than a guy who OD'd on drugs?" Otherwise so far they are great.

I bought this for my daughter. She absolutely loves it but what would make it even better is if there were pictures!

I just love these page-a-day calendars. I have bought many over the years for myself and as gifts. It is a personal gift that can be tailored to the interests of your friends and family. It is inexpensive. I set mine on my coffee table where I drink coffee in the morning. I always know the date and day.

Ours did not come in a box and FYI the calendar is not in color - only black and white type. Not an issue on the use, the content or really anything just booooorrrriinnnng.

This calendar has become a joke between my husband and me. They pick some of the strangest/most depressing things. I understand history is not always happy, but it is so often that we read one and it is about people dying. Also, some of them just seem like they are stretching for a fact.

The recipient enjoys History and loves to learn...this calendar provided a "something quick to look forward to each day" and share with others as well.

Mainly USA history rather than global.No pictures so far, text only.Nice enough quality paper etc.

What a con. Bought this for somebody with dementia, didn't realise it was for 2019. What the hell was the point in selling this in December 2019. Fuming.

Perhaps I didn't read the description closely, but I expected a fact and an image on each glossy page like most Daily calendars have. This one just has regular white paper pages with facts. Great if you are a hard core history buff but not if you're looking for a fun daily calendar.
