This is working out great for our puppies and obviously more durable as the plastic trays we've had to replace in the past.

Replaced plastic tray my dog destroyed. Metal tray is so much more stable and sturdy.

I have purchased about 6 different black plastic trays over the years. Anytime my smoke alarms started chirping about needing batteries, my dog would go crazy and chew up everything in her crate! I guess I could have just replaced batteries every six months but instead I kept purchasing plastic trays that would eventually be in pieces. Finally I bought this metal one. It has held up to any chew attempts and is easy to clean.

My puppy broke 4 of the plastic trays in the bottom of his kennel. I bought this metal tray and now he can’t break it. It’s less trouble and definitely cheaper than replacing them all the time!

I loved that my dog can't chew this up. It's true to its measurements and fits the cage well. It's easy to clean and all. But it is so noisy. My dog will stamp on it in the middle of the night or when she is board. It's a clanging metal sound.

The quality is better than I expected, advertised dimensions are accurate. I'll never had to buy another replacement crate pan again!

I recently purchased this tray to replace the plastic tray that came with the “Top Paw” crate. My dog has severe separation anxiety so he destroyed the previous plastic tray. I was looking for a sturdy replacement because he drools, chews, and scratches when he stressed. I had to order the largest size to fit the crate 41”x27.38”x1”. Thankfully I did not need to order a custom size, which is offered if the standard options do not fit.The tray arrived two days after it was purchased. There was one minor dent on the raised edge from shipping, but the product was still functional. The tray itself is 11 pounds. This did add a significant amount of weight to the overall crate. It has made it more difficult to maneuver, but that is one minor downside. After using the tray for 1 month, my dog has not been able to chew it or put a single scratch mark in it. Every day I come home and I need to clean up his drool and urine from the crate. Not only is it EASY to clean, but there are no signs of rust either! Also, because of the 1-inch lip around the tray, there is no mess that escapes outside of the crate to clean. The plastic tray took me at least 15 minutes to wipe down and clean all the hair out. It now only takes me 5 minutes to clean the new on! If you like to save yourself time cleaning after your pup, I would definitely recommend this product.
