MBRPExhaust S5145409 Muffler Replacement 3 in. Bypass Pipe T409 Stainless Steel Muffler Replacement

The instructions call for cutting the pipe from the rear of the muffler and unbolting the front pipe on the muffler. In my situation, the long pipe included in the kit came with a 3 hole flange but the one on the truck was a 2 hole flange. When I saw this I panicked and emailed the seller. Prior to their response, I assessed what I had on hand and developed a solution.In addition to cutting the pipe from the rear of the muffler, I cut the front pipe off the muffler as well because the flange on that pipe, allowed me to utilize the stock pipe coming from the collector. All I had to do was cut the muffler's front pipe to fit, cut one of the expanded ends from a pipe in the kit and utilize clamps to hold it in place.The end result is a mild exhaust sound at idle and cruising but aggressive when you get aggressive with the accelerator, that does not radiate inside the cab! Perfect!

Easy install, clean and crisp! Sound is best I’ve heard for a delete. Better than any muffler I’ve used.

Although the installation instructions were not the greatest it was easy to figure out. Took me about 40 minutes.The sound is deep and throaty but not deafening. I think it really sounds great.

Fairly easy to install but you do need to have something to cut your exhaust pipe. And I recommend use some sort of lubricant on the rubber hangers with a pair of exhaust hanger pliers. Once installed it made my truck sound awesome. Not too loud and no drone.

Product works overall but is misleading due to the fact you have to cut the pipe to fit. According to directions the bed size I have required not cutting but pipe was too long and had to be cut to fit.

Instructions are clear and easy. If you have an exhaust hanger tool great, if not, WD40 works just fine.

Sounds good. The front pipe flange did not fit my 2022 Ram 1500. I had to cut the stock pipe to fit the mbrp pipe. Other then that everything went smooth.

Where the hangers were welded on they burnt through the pipe causing a leak I had to have welded up.
