This pattern was a little confusing for the collar but otherwise pretty good. I made my sons both a collared button up shirt. The directions on the pattern left a non traditional sewer in peril. I suffered through to make the collar how I thought it should go and the results are nice. I have not tackled a mens shirt because I did not want to hear any critique from my husband, Maybe I might get brave enough one day.

Good pattern but building the fly was confusing compared to other patterns I’ve used.

I was impressed with my first sewing project. I made my son the shirt and it looks good ! This pattern was easy to follow.

I only used the pattern for the boy's shirt but I found the directions to be difficult to follow and the construction of the shirt collar/facing not the best method. I am an experienced seamstress so my difficulty with the pattern was not due to being a beginner. The illustrations/directions were difficult to follow. Unfortunately there are not many patterns for young boys shirts.

I really liked this pattern, I made the trousers and included the side pleated pockets. However, I would say that I've never had such a not so simple simplicity pattern before. The pattern is good for Alevel fashion or for someone who is experienced and knowledgeable of reading pattern instructions as these were very wordy and complicated. Overall, the trousers made were really nice but if you will wear them with a belt then it would be best to adjust the pocket/beltloop pattern piece the make the belt loops longer and then adjust and add the length you've added to the belt loops to the pattern markers/tailor's tack on the trousers.
