Household Essentials 623 Small Tapered Soft-Side Storage Bin with Wood Handles, Gray, Grey

I was looking for something to my daughters toys in on a bookshelf and although it fit really nicely and looked esthetically pleasing I was afraid that the fabric would tear very easily moving her toys in and out of it. It had a metal frame that helped the sturdiness but durability of it I was afraid wouldn’t hold up to the task so I returned them. Would recommend for something else other than baby toys though!

It’s not bad for the price. The overall structure is decent however the material is so thin. We purchased 4 of them. I thought it’d be a thicker burlap, but it’s actually a very thin canvas, almost see through. We kept them because they were the perfect size for what we needed (an unusually difficult size to find) but I wish they wouldn’t have been better quality.

Love the dimensions of this product, and overall it's suitable for the job (storing cat toys). However, the material is very thin and flimsy. The poor quality is most obvious from the interior of the basket, so again, it's not a big problem for my purposes. I just don't anticipate it having a long life.

Update review... 7 years later9/17/2020 update - We liked the first one so much that I had purchased 7 more of these shortly after my original review... I still have 6 out of the 8 and they are still AMAZING.The 2 I no longer have is because they were being used for transporting heavy things for too long and their handles broke. I still get compliments on the ones I have left; they are used for family laundry hauling and toy storage.Original review 9/23/2013PRACTICALITY: - This product is way durable - I bought this as a laundry basket for my toddler; his clothes don't need such a large hamper. - We bought it for him when he was 15 months old and he has been able to carry it around from day one (that speaks to the light weight-ness of this product).APPEAL: - The coloring of this bin's fabric is not solid... which I like because the subtle blend of colors allows it to mingle nicely with my son's cherry wood furniture. - The inside is not as aesthetically pleasing as the outside so I'm glad I didn't order it as a decorative piece.OTHER: - I wish it had a larger twin somewhere so we could order one for our own laundry too!

I was looking for a bin that would function as a decorative shoe container for the entryway to my home and I saw this product and read from one of the reviews that it worked well for that purpose. Still, it was a bit of a gamble all the same. I looked at the measurements of the product (medium size) and thought it seemed kind of small for my needs, but I decided to give it a shot and I am so happy I did.This was perfect. It fits cozily in the corner of my entry way. My kids no longer throw their shoes everywhere!!! It fits many more shoes than I expected from the measurements. The wood handles and fabric exterior give it a nice look, but the interior wire frame appear durable to withstand constant use.****UPDATE****It's been almost a year since I bought this item and have been using this bin for shoes in that time. I was pleased with it; however, it's durability has come into question. One of the wooden handles shattered and I barely ever move the bin. I must say I am disappointed and I reduced my 5 star rating to a 4 star rating for this reason.

I never would have dreamed these would hold up as well as they have. When we remodeled our mudroom, I decided to buy bins to keep the kids' shoes in. These were the right size to slide underneath the bench I had, and I figured if I got a year or two out of them that would be great. It's now been over six years, and the kids have been sliding them back and forth across the tile floor to throw their shoes in multiple times a day. I'm now back to order one more because we have baby number 5 on the way and I'm so pleased to see they're still for sale! Have lifted them up to check the bottoms for wear, thinking they might not be in as good a shape as I thought, but no problems there. You can't even tell they've been used and abused all this time.

It serves its purpose

The wires poke threw the top of the basket; this happened soon after I bought it. Other than this, the cloth part is very durable.

Cheap choice but does what it needs to. We just have it for a magazine holder on the floor.

Very cute and decently large product. Bought it on offer for less than rs. 600. Definitely worth the price. Waiting for it to be on offer to buy again.

The colour of this bin blends well with the decor of our trailer and easily holds 40 water bottles. That is a lot of weight but the water is handy and the bin does the job.
