Got these for safety reasons for our soon-to-be toddlers crawling up and down the stairs. They’re much softer and higher quality than originally anticipated, and the color is a nice soft grey. They’re peel and stick to install….easy enough but peeling the backing off of them was the most time consuming part as the backing came off in a million pieces. They’re great non-slip quality and definitely stay put when walking up and down the stairs (even with our crazy dog), but have found that our toddler thinks it’s fun to try to peel them off. :) all in all, I would order again!!

My wife and I purchased our forever home last August. Hey. Why else would we with these rates?? Seriously though, the steps going to the basement are a bit worn and need refinishing. This home is vintage 50s, it’s probably the smallest home in a phenomenal well established neighborhood. It’s had updates but needs more and we have 2 kids in college. Baby steps fixing this place up. These were fear to put down since I set up the theater room right away for the nfl season. Wear well , look great with my wife’s decor. People even comment on them more than you’d think. I thought it would be never, lol. Great product and value for tje price.

These are very nice carpet mats. I used them on unfinished steps leading down to the basement. Great feel to them, look awesome. Only problem is, I should have ordered more! Highly recommend.

I bought these because we have wood steps which can be slippery. We have a toddler and I wanted to add some traction to our stairs to try and limit slips and falls. These worked great for the purpose and look nice with our decor. Once installed, they do not move around at all, they stay put. I will say that removing the plastic backing from them was a bit tedious and time consuming. Also, the black is not a dark black, more like a charcoal. Overall, easy to install and does the trick!

Absolutely love my new strair treads! The color looks great, super easy to install and they don’t slip (no need for carpet tape!). Hopefully they wear well!

These little carpet treads are way better than expected! The carpet is very soft and feels nice to walk on. I also saw a lot of reviews saying that it was difficult to remove the protective plastic on the back of each mat, but they’ve since fixed that issue and there is a tab in the center that allows you to tear the plastic off with ease. The non-slip backing is fantastic! Just stick them where you want them, they don’t budge! But it’s very easy to peel them up and they’re machine washable as well. I’m very happy with this purchase and will likely be purchasing more. Buy them!

My grandmother just moved into the house next to us and she loves these things. They have been fantastic for us and our dog and cat getting traction up and down the stairs, but they have really made sure my grandmother is staying safe in a home with stairs! easy to remove and clean, easy to install. would definitely recommend.

We got these to help our elderly dogs to better go up and down the stairs. So far, working great. They are sticky but I can see where if you repeatedly remove them several times, they will fail to stick to the surface. Our stair treads are very smooth, with thick polyurethane surface - I don’t know how well these would stick to unfinished wood. Other reviews here had good advice to use a razor to lightly score the plastic backing around the edges for easier removal. That was good advice. All around definitely worth the price to help our dogs navigate the stairs safely.
