arrived on time. I take these daily to help keep my sugar low. Seem to work as I am now at 97 instead of 105 or more.

My order arrived very quickly without any issues. I have taken the Berberine for several days now... I don't expect immediate results.... And after all, who can feel their A1C shifting ?I am taking this product because it is supposed to help drop your A1C... Mine floats around 6 which is a problem. In the last year or so, I haven't eaten a lot of extra sugar ... I have had a high protein diet.... But still high A1C.Berberine was recommended by Dr. Mixon, a local radio-doctor who has a clinic with an excellent reputation.... He says his patients take this to control their A1C and have A1C's around 5.2 ....Berberine is very unpleasant to take as a powder.... So these capsules take the pain out of twice-a-day doses of Berberine.Exercise can also help control A1C...This product is sold to us at an extremely good price .... Penny per milligram, this is the lowest I could find... I found powders at a good price... But this price is better AND it is in capsules. Remember, Berberine is very unpleasant to take as a powder.So.... Berberine helps a lot of people to control their A1C.... I have a high A1C... And from what I can see, this product is the best value out there.Oct 31, 2020 Follow Up:After about 3 months of taking Berberine, my A1C dropped from 6 to 5.8. I continue to take Berberine for this reason... I haven't had my A1c checked lately.... I will try to update this after my next blood work.AND.... I have also read that Berberine and Metformin work excellently together.... for Blood Sugar Control and also for Anti Cancer Benefits.My doctor originally prescribed Metformin for me to deal with Pre Diabetes... then I started taking Berberine in stead of the Metformin.... then I learned that the two work very well together.... and I discussed this with my doctor and now I take both.NOTE: Another one of my doctors, a Naturopath who is also an MD, told me that she had not seen Berberine help with lowering A1c and she speculated something else had caused the A1c reduction ... but she encouraged me to keep taking the Berberine for its anti-cancer benefits... since I have had prostate cancer and I am dealing with it becoming bioactive again.... Berberine can help prevent the spread of cancer and also reduce tumor size. A simple Google Search will corroborate these assertions.

I have heard a lot of good things about Berberine. I have purchased other Swanson products, so I tried this one. It does work with no bitter taste or side effects. It will slowly help you lose some belly fat. Try it.

Cheap price didn't mean that it was any less effective. I was taking this for observational reason. I work in the nutrition industry and thus help many people with various health needs.I went for nearly a year with some type of bacterial or viral issue that the medical approach seemed baffled over and couldn't help.So using my past knowledge of natural medicine I included Berberine as one of the tools to combat my mystery symptoms which involved terribly lung issues as well as constant fatigue and low energy.Berberine is well known for its anti-bacterial, anti-viral properties.While taking the berberine I also noticed more stable blood sugar as well as a leaning out effect, in other words my body fat levels decreased.That was proof positive that this Berberine supplement was effective as advertised since those are some of the noted benefits of Berberine.I did also however notice a significant decrease in muscle mass as well towards the end of my cycle with Berberine. I was also at the maximum dose of 3 capsules per day at that point.In my adult life I've never been that low on muscle mass so without a doubt it was the Berberine having that effect.It's been noted by researchers that most likely that muscle reducing effect of Berberine can be offset by doing resistance training to prevent the muscle atrophy from happening.It was shortly after I noticed the significant decrease in muscle mass that I discontinued using Berberine so I can't say whether doing some resistance training would prevent the loss in muscle but it seems logical that it should work.Anyhow, the point is that I clearly responded in classic fashion to this Berberine as noted by established clinical studies and thus I must conclude that this Swanson brand despite being very affordable is also very effect and performs well.Whether you are looking for the anti-viral, antibacterial effect, the weight loss effect, the blood sugar balancing effect, the liver de-fatting effect, based on what I experienced I believe this supplement is effective!Please always seek proper medical supervision when taking a supplement like this.**Oh btw, I have recovered to a great degree from the terrible state I was in. The supplement is great but this is my 6th bottle ordered from Amazon and I’ve been having issues where I’d open the bottle and there’d be broken capsules. Not only do I receive less pills… but then all the remaining pills are coated with the powder from the broken pills… the taste is quite bitter.This is one of the better berberine brands I’ve bought and I do feel a difference, with the Swanson capsules as opposed to other brands but I must consider the downside mentioned before.
