Thought the product was great, just what I needed to drill through our granite counter top to install a new faucet. Could not be happier. The suction pads were well strong enough to hold the bit still, they way they fit together on the bit helped hold the bit straight. During drilling the bearings used to guide the bit did not crawl up or down, held steady and true, did not bind. I have seen other systems for doing this but at a much greater cost. The diamond on the bits while nickel plated held well and worked well through the whole 1.5 inches of drilling. Just let the bit and the drill do the work, additional pressure was not needed. Trying would have ruined the bit before the job was completed.

Had 17"x17" tile. Both suction cups were unable to lock due to where holes needed drilled. The suction cup held so tight one was able to stabilize for drilling. Put soaked sponge into hole saw to supple water to keep it cool and it cut very fast and clean.

They worked great on ceramic tile I installed for my shower.

I was concerned if these would do a good job making holes in porcelain tile. They seem a bit cheap, but they did do a great job cutting holes thru my 7/16” thk tile. I used 10, 25, 30 and 40mm sizes. They for certain can cut at least 3 holes without degradation. I cut the hole in the tile first so I could do it outside with water flushing the cut using a cordless drill. The guide jig seems to be constructed well enough to do the job without breaking the first few times you try to use it. I’ve drilled several holes and all is still in close to new condition. It has more hole saw bits than I’ll ever use. I keep it in the box in which it came to keep it organized and stored

The bits can be used for a few holes each on porcelain tile. So worth the purchase if you have a small job and don't want to spend the money for higher quality for multiple bits.The suction cup/jig, I give 1 star. The roller bearings are good, but zero suction. Do not rely on it as you may scruff up the surface of your tile... or it will walk and you'll have a misplaced hole. You could try clamping it to a flat surface, or buying something else.

Bought it almost 2 years ago and used them quite a bit at work doing custom showers and countertops. Outstanding quality, still cutting like a champ. We have used expensive brand hole saw bits in the past and after 1 or 2 cuts it would go in trash. Marsbase bits has been reused time after time, after time, and still are doing good job cutting marble, granite, quartz.

First, have a look at the pictures. I burned up 3 bits trying to drill a 1/2" hole through 1-1/8 granite. I even used water to keep the bit cool. Ultimately I finish drilling the hole with a regular masonry bit. I couldn't use the jig, because it didn't have enough adjustability to drill a hole in the space between the backsplash and sink edge. I ended up using a piece of plywood with a hole drilled in it to keep the bit from walking until I got the hole started. Awful product.

L'outil fonctionne tel que décrit. La seule raison de ne pas avoir accordé 5 étoiles est la faible durée des trépans. On ne peut pas faire plus que 6 trous, même si on prend bien soin d'utiliser de l'eau pendant le perçage.Plusieurs revues mentionnent que les ventouses ne fonctionnent pas. Je n'ai eu aucun problème avec les ventouses.
