WASNT SHIPPED WITH SUPPORT BRACKETS.
So great mirrors for the price. You definitely get what you pay for though which is becoming redundant with amazon. Basically if you shop for a bargain you usually end up with a crappy product that doesnt fit, wasnt as described, cheaply made, or requires modification on your part. The mirrors themselves are nice and built well and feel nice and soild. But of course the support brackets were not included. This problem can be fixed by going to the hardware store and buying about 12 inches of tube aluminum thats wide enough on the inside to fit over the mounting bolts that are protruding from the mirror. Make sure its a nice thick gauge alum. for the best support. You cut the aluminum tube into about 2 inch pieces and slide them over the mounting bolts while holding the mirror in place. Be sure to put little washers at the base of the aluminum. Then just tighten down the nuts that were included onto the aluminum sleeves. I didnt measure anything. Done. I mean i shouldnt have had to do this but hey i guess it beats paying 250-300$+ for comparable mirrors elsewhere. Also if you have power adjusting mirrors you will have to remove the little selector knob to make for the longass bolts these mirrors have. You wont be using the knob anymore anyway but the hole there is not very attractive. *cough*yougetwhatyoupayfor Not really sure of the reason they have such long bolts. Final note to anyone removing door panels. IF YOU DOOR DOESNT WANT TO COME OFF DONT FORCE IT JUST CUT THRU THE LITTLE PLASTIC CLIPS YOU CAN GET NEW ONES AT THE AUTO STORE. if you break the clips, no biggy. If you break the little brackets that holds the clips, youre screwed and you will have to get a new door panel.

4/5 stars
Mirrors work well, theyre sturdy. I don't know where all these people got their mirrors, but mine dont wobble or shake. Only thing is they aren't the mirrors in the picture. They have a hole behind where the mirror folds down that's covered by some piece of plastic with adhesive on it. Don't know why that's there..Also the bolts are NOT too long. Theyre as long as they are because you're supposed to use the support brackets(come with mirrors) which help hold the mirrors in place. But other than that, decent mirrors. Would buy power ones next time though.

Amazing, just hard to fold
I used these on my trail rig, I modified these to fit a 02 Durango (dremeled down the plastic screw and drilled my doors), when I'm out towing or on the trail they work perfect flipped up but for normal driving they are pointless even when flipped down. My only complaint is that the spring is too heavy and it makes hard to fold them in. Then when they are folded in I had to use my body weight along with my arms acting like a press to push from the center console and the mirror out

Just what you need, nothing more nothing less.
Love them, cant expect much more for the money. Installed these on my 2nd gen ram long-bed extended cab. You will have to grind the bolts after install, as they're way too long. Also probably order more of the door panel buttons because you'll wreck a few getting them off. Otherwise great quality...remember they're going on a 20+ year old truck...

Good for the price.
These are good for the price. They shipped them in two separate boxes though which was odd and one is slightly smaller in length but only by an inch. It doesn't make a difference when driving or when you look at them. Keep in mind, THESE ARE NOT POWERED MIRRORS YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY ADJUST THEM. The mirror itself shakes a little when driving but that's understandable with how long they are. Overall these are a great product. 4 stars only because of the separate shipping and length difference.

Good fit and easy installation. glass shakes a bit.
Packaging was good, item arrived undamaged, very pleased with the quality of fit and finish. Would have rated 5 stars, however, the big bad Cummins shakes so much that the glass in these mirrors shake with it and my old mirrors didn't. ..... it seems that maybe they could have reinforced the glass with a heavier backing and adjustment mechanism. Otherwise the mirrors make towing my enclosed gooseneck trailer much safer when attempting to change lanes or merge into freeway traffic.
