Good quality for the price
I am a roofing contractor. I tried this model out on a recent project. The fan is solid. The exterior housing was very study, which is important in the SE with all the hurricanes. Easy to install and operates within minutes of being in the sun. Good value for the price.

love this sucker
took about ten minutes for the install as long as you have all the tools with you,its heavy and large but works like a charm, pulled hot air out of the attic immediately and our small attic space and home had an immediate temp difference on the inside,i would venture to guess about 5 degrees but smaller spaces would probably cool down alot more, this is probably one of the better purchases i have made for the house ever.

Works good, could benefit from having a rain shield of some sort
I bought this and it seems to keep our attic cooler in the hotter parts of the day. Had a hurricane blow through and had some rain get into the attic, luckily not too bad but I’m going to put some sheet metal around it to keep rain from getting in

Doesn’t last long…
After 1.5 years, it no longer works. Customer support doesn’t answer the phone…

This unit works great!
Pretty darn simple to install if you understand Shingles.. It very well built, The only small issue is the mounting screws they give you have too big of heads on them .. but not too big of an issue, I used stainless pan heads… Great product

How much can you really love a Solar Attic Fan? ALOT!!!!!!
I have a shed that gets over 100* in the summer.I've done all I can to keep it cool. The only thing that kind of works is to run the poor little 8K BTU window AC all day and all night. So, after a few $600 electric bills, I'm done with that idea. The walls and ceiling are insulated, but there is not much air flow. This fan is so quiet that you barely hear it running. I need to put my ear up to it to hear it run.And it does a GREAT job of venting out the room. The different mounting options let you mount it pretty much anywhere. Mine is in the roof. Really easy to install. NO WIRES!The one and ONLY issue with it is if you cover any part of the panel, the fan barely runs. I was testing it, and even with the shade of just my hand, the fan speed drops really low. Weird. If you have direct sunlight, this thing pulls a lot of air.Temps are down in the 80*s at the most now!

Not sure about this
The media could not be loaded. This fan is supposed to cover 3000 sq ft at 2400 cfm. It seems weak. It’s has not been terribly sunny out so I’d like to give it a few weeks to see if it works better after some sunny days. The hole is also only 12” around, I thought it was much smaller than a fan of this capability should be.
