Gummy and squishy, but yummy
I've never had black garlic before and I'm glad I tried it. This Nat Flav Whole Black Garlic, 8.8 Oz is fermented for 120 days and is made from single clove bulbs of garlic, do when you open one of these it's just a large black blob. It feels kind of gummy and squishy, but not sticky, although it did have residue on my fingers. The texture when eating depends on the individual bulb of garlic. Sometimes they are super soft and buttery and sometimes they are a little bit firmer and feel thicker. The flavor to me is just like a very very mild garlic but it's kind of sweet too.
