Use a lot of these since I make Christmas ornaments for craft fairs. Hobby Lobby has stopped carrying the 3" soft foam balls I use and has only a small inventory of the half balls.Thanks for making these availability on Amazon. They arrive in days and the quality is great.

Fully satisfied no complaints. I used it for motorcycle helmets. I made some stands from leftover wood. I placed wood squares under 1 inch square wood posts and smaller squares on the top. Sanded and painted them black. The half foam balls were then glued to the top squares and the helmets were placed on them.

We purchased this item to help stock my classroom's STEM/maker space. Whether for crafting, prototyping or building model scenes, I think the kids are going to find a lot of creative ways to use these.The foam itself is as you would expect and the quality is what you would find in a big box craft store.

After a lite buff I turned it into a hostess snow ball and attached to a cup ( need to cover) used it as snow cone, to be used as ornaments for x-mas tree.

My daughter likes to do needle felting. She wanted to make a "Baby Yoda" in his little "baby buggy" thing. Making a half ball in felt in not easy, so she decided to make it over a form of a half ball of foam. These were just the right size for her needs (She like to make mini characters) She found them well suited for holding the wool in place as she felted it onto the half sphere.
