ThinkPad and Linux
Awesome laptop to run Linux. Great packaging.

So far so good
On first power-up it just came up to a dark screen: I had to hold the power button down to reset it and get it to boot properly. It's been all good since. Everything is very zippy, and I'm planning to use it for Linux development.I bought the Lenovo Urban Laptop Sleeve:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CS1S553to carry it around. It fits quite well.

High frequency pitch. TERRIBLLY IRRITATING NOISE
I got this machine to replace my Lenovo P51 that is on Windows 10 and cannot upgrade to 11 due to the motherboard.The P16s is not noticeably faster than my old machine even though the new CPU has better specifications.The fan kicks in even when it is NOT under load, and it emits a high frequency pitch that is giving me a headache.Even when the fan is OFF, the machine continues to emit a CONTSTANT high frequency sound that is just terrible.If you are sensitive to high frequency sound DO NOT GET THIS MACHINE. It will drive you mad.I am getting rid of this machine ASAP.

Hight end, exclusive, very quite (like fanless) and very strong laptop. Best I ever had!
I am so happy and feel lucky to buy such great laptop.I was looking - first of all - I wanted quite laptop as I have work with lots of concentration. 2nd thing was - I need strong CPU with 64GB RAM at least. This one is AMD 7840U with 64GB LPDDR5X-6400MHz (beats the i7 gen 13th by far)! Another mandatory factor I was looking was that it will be with OLED 16" display. This laptop was very successful choice that fulfills all my requirements !

Mine didn't come with a charger
I'm sure it's a good laptop but please say a charger is not included. Now I have to wait for the charger to get here to even use it.
