I was looking for a water bottle that was lightweight, sturdy and easy to transport when we travelled. I had bought a collapsible bottle a couple of years ago which was made of a clear polyethylene material and, although it was indeed light and folded very flat, it just didn't stand up very well. It was also not very easy to hold onto when filled with liquid. I read several of the reviews for the Nomader and people seemed to like it. For me, the design was what really made me choose it. There are several collapsible water bottles made of the same or similar materials. However, the design of the Nomader outshined the others. I also liked the color selections. I got a purple and an orange one for me and my husband. Now that I've used it for hiking and on a trip, I'm sooo glad I picked it. I walked all over New England and this bottle was with me everywhere. It is very sturdy, stands up on its own, holds hot and cold liquids, and you can add flavor packets or essential oils to it. (I like to put those True Lime and True Lemon packets in my water, or a drop or two of mint essential oil.) It can be a little tricky to roll up, but the bottle does collapse well enough to stick in the carry on going through airport security or in your backpack when it's empty. It doesn't get totally flat like that polyethylene bottle, but since I prefer being able to really use the bottle with liquids in it, I don't mind that it's not totally flat one bit. I really like the strap, too, which was a selling point for me. I went to the sporting goods store and got a little S-Hook and attached that to the strap so I can hook it on my luggage or my fanny pack when hiking. I also like it that the strap will wrap around my wrist. Another reason I got this one, and like it, is the plastic sleeve. Although the bottle certainly stands up on its own, the sleeve adds more stability and also acts as a barrier if your liquid is hot or cold. If I were to suggest improvements, it would be to make the cap a bit easier to flip up an down and snap closed. Because the design of the cap needs to be screwed down to keep it from leaking, it means you have to unscrew it to open it. I would like to be able to flip it up and down with a snap. However, I have found this is a minor inconvenience and the rest of the design outweighs that. It's great to travel with, and easily slides in the pocket on the back of airline seats. I even was able to wedge it between my seat and the airplane wall, when sitting at a window spot. That's not possible with those hard bottles. On the whole, I highly recommend this bottle. Finally, the customer service is excellent. If you get this, I don't think you'll be disappointed in the product one bit.

While I'm at home I am always attached to my water tumbler but when I'm travelling it is more difficult to keep hydrated without going through dozens of plastic water bottles or constant trips to the faucet to refill small cups. I've used the basic plastic versions of this and they work well as an emergency backup to keep in my bag, but I wanted something that may hold up a bit better. I found this silicone bottle and it looked like it would fit the bill nicely.Pros:Great size - it will hold plenty of water and ice to keep from having to constantly refill.Opening size - the top cap screws off making it easy to drop in ice cubesLocking cap - the drinking cap locks in place with a simple twist. At first I figured this wasn't important until I accidentally knocked the bottle over on to my laptop and no water spilled out!Freestanding - full or empty this bottle will stand on it's own with no issues.There are, however, a few negatives:Folding - it DOES fold up which reduces its size significantly, but it compacts much less than the other plastic fold up bottles. The strap that you use to hold the roll can be tricky to attach to the post.Unfolding - Initially, unfolding is easy - undo the strap and the bottle flops open. To get the best freestanding ability you slide the plastic sleeve about 1/2 way down. This sleeve does not slide easily and takes a steady amount of pressure to push down.Temperature Maintenance - this bottle doesn't keep water/ice as cold as my Yeti tumbler, but about the only thing that matches it is a refrigerator. It does an adequate job for my needs.The cons on this bottle are minor issues and I'm super happy with this water bottle. It performs the duties I have asked of it easily - hold water and ice and pack up to fit easily in a small bag. It's not perfect, but it is better than any of the other collapsible bottles I've used

Ordered two of these bottles for a trip to East Africa this summer. We were severely restricted in weight and size for bush flights - every ounce counted. These roll-up bottles were a perfect size/weight, but more importantly, they are GREAT bottles. Size is perfect and they don't fall out of our pack side pockets (....the bottle material seems to prevents this). We followed the initial instructions for first-time cleaning and never had any issues with ill-flavored water. Have used them while hiking, biking, and walking. We just returned from Antarctica where they were perfect for our Zodiak cruising, hiking, and penguin interactions. Unfortunately, I lost one of the plastic sleeves down there. Yesterday I emailed the company to ask how to get a replacement. Within a few hours, I had a reply from their customer support. Not only are they shipping me a free sleeve, but they are also including upgraded sleeves and an alternative cover for both of our water bottles. That is excellent support!

Love the light weight, flexibility to fold and pack in my luggage, the color selection, leak proof, very easy to hold, and clean ….I put the strap around my wrist and take the bottle everywhere I go! It’s almost a permanent fixture on me! I bought one in every color and my entire family uses them and is hooked to them. I couldn’t have asked for a better bottle. And I tried quite a few before this one. The icing on the cake is the service. The customer service is absolutely outstanding. They treat you like you’re the only customer. I wrote to them about one of the lids, losing its leak proof band and not only did they mail me the lid for that specific bottle they mailed me multiple lids as back up for all the bottles I had. This is remarkable service. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

Overrated and expensive. Pros: leakproof and tough. Cons: I don’t like the feel of the material. And a big sales point is that it’s collapsible, but you still have to have room for it when it’s full, so it doesn’t really save space unless you’re interested in carrying around an empty, compressed bottle.

My wife and I bought two of these for a trip to Hawaii and they seemed like a well designed product. And it is. Not a problem was had with either of them. Our water did end up having a strange, stagnant taste after a few hours but I am ready to blame that on the fact that they were new or quite warm all the time. But if you can get around that like us, go for it.

Great bottle. I have tried so many different drinking bottles this is by far the most portable, handy to clean as you can soak it in hot water. Needs to be cleaned regularly and the taste of silicone is there if the water isn't fresh enough but only very small.

I bought one of these for my husband and myself and we both use them every day. I love that they can be frozen without issue - the water freezes quickly as well. I have not used it for hot liquids so I can't speak to the performance in that area, but it is a handy and compact water bottle for every day use. My only (minor) complaint is that the bottle makes water taste a certain way, even after using it for over a month and washing multiple times in the dishwasher.

Excellent bottle. Sturdy but flexible-great for camping and commuting!
