Good product
My old one quit working so I just had to replace the old one. Be sure to keep the wires straight. Best to take a picture of the old one before you remove any wires. It's very easy to mix them up if you aren't careful. Has a good light on it, but the light stays on all the time. I thought it would turn off when not needed. Great buy, I will do it again if the need arrises.

Nice light feature
They are hard too get a plug in but the added light is nice in the kitchen as a night light. At first wasn't sure one was needed in a GFCI but I installed 2 in kitchen and it's a nice feature as a night light without adding another light. Originally purchased for bathroom but haven't got to them yet. Recommended product

– Family Safe – UL Listed & Labeled electrical safety testing certification
– Family Safe – UL Listed & Labeled electrical safety testing certification Safety First - The most important thing is that this with Nightlight and Tamper Resistant GFCI Receptacle IS SAFE to use in your home. It has electrical safety certification labels on the receptacle itself as required by NEC requirements. So, the AHJ Electrical Inspector will approve you work when he inspects. Please see the attached photograph of the UL Listing & Labeled certificate logo.- I can use this ELECTRICALLY SAFE with Nightlight and TR Tamper Resistant GFCI Receptacle and pass electrical inspection and keep my Home Owner’s Insurance valid. I often buy light fixtures, or electrical products, or Lithium Ion Batteries on Amazon where the website description does not bother to mention the electrical safety testing certification. I just assume that I will receive a product that is safe for my family. I am always surprised and dismayed when the light fixture, or electrical product, or Lithium Battery DOES NOT have an electrical safety test certification label. - For my moral values, to keep my family safe, to keep other families safe, for my liability insurance requirements, and to keep my Home Owner’s insurance valid, I only use or install ETL or UL or CSA, or TUV, or Triangle VDE, or Diamond VSE electrical safety certified and labeled electrical products in my own home and in other people’s homes or businesses. These electrical safety certifications are provided by third party electrical product safety testing laboratories that are independent from the manufacturer. - The CE label IS NOT a certification of independent laboratory electrical safety testing. The CE label is an UN-certified SELF-declaration scheme for marketing by the manufacturer. A product labeled with the CE mark DOES NOT have to be third party electrical safety certified to be marketed. - The UKCA label IS NOT a certification of independent laboratory electrical safety testing. The UKCA label is an UN-certified SELF-declaration scheme for marketing by the manufacturer. A product labeled with the UKCA mark DOES NOT have to be third party electrical safety certified to be marketed. - The Circle PSE label IS NOT a certification of independent laboratory electrical safety testing. The Circle PSE label is an UN-certified SELF-declaration scheme for marketing by the manufacturer. A product labeled with the Circle PSE mark DOES NOT have to be third party electrical safety certified to be marketed. - If you want your family to be safe and want your home owner’s insurance to remain valid you must only have electrical products that have independent laboratory electrical safety certifications showing that the product passed strict outside laboratory electrical safety testing. - I only purchased this with Nightlight and TR Tamper Resistant GFCI Receptacle because the website claimed that it was Safety Certified and Labeled. If a product has passed the strict electrical safety testing by these laboratories then it must show that safety certification label on the Lithium Ion Batteries, on the Power Supply Battery Charger, and on the product itself. There IS such an electrical safety certification label on this with Nightlight and TR Tamper Resistant GFCI Receptacle. - Before installing an electrical device, the first thing an electrician does is to check for the electrical safety testing Laboratory Label Logo and Certification Listing number. - Ask your city’s electrical inspector if they will approve use of NON-safety certified and labeled electrical devices in your home; and then ask your professional licensed electrician if they will install UN-certified electrical devices; and then ask your home owner’s insurance agent if your home owner’s insurance will be valid if you install such NON-safety labeled electrical products. Of course, your home owner’s insurance agent will not inspect your home’s electric appliances until AFTER the fire, or electrocution, so that the insurance claim can be denied.

Just what I needed for my upcoming wiring project!
As we were closing up our seasonal campsite last October, we received some great news. This coming Spring, the campground is going to reactivate one of the power distribution poles on our campsite, and we will be able to use it to draw additional power for our campsite. You see, over 20 years ago, the campground had merged two smaller sites to convert it into one larger site. And, in doing that, they deactivated the meter for that second power pole. But here's the thing, with those two sites being turned into one BIGGER site, there's plenty of room for lots of campground goodies that need power. And with only a single 30 Amp power pole, with a couple of extra 20 Amp outlets, it didn't take us long to max out that single power pole's capacity. So we've been lobbying the campground to reactivate that second power pole, because, as well kept explaining, we PAY for any electricity that we use, so they have nothing to lose by making additional power available on our site. Now that the additional power has been approved, I now have to create some heavy duty weatherproof outlet lines to make use of that extra capacity.Eight additional outlets to be exact. So the plan is to add two heavy guage GFCI protected lines, each with 4 additional 20 Amp 120V outlets. And that is where this 2 pack of ELEGRP 20 Amp Self-Test GFCI Outlet w/Nightlight comes in.I plan to use one each for each line that I install. And the ELEGRP 20 Amp Self-Test GFCI Outlet w/Nightlight will fit my needs PERFECTLYFirst off, and the biggest unexpected bonus, is the nightlight.I mean, these additonal outlet boxes could very well need to be accessed at night, so how convenient it is that they have their own built in nightlight?Secondly, since additional 20A 120V outlets can be wired on the same circuit as the ELEGRIP 20 Amp GFCI Outlet, and be FULLY PROTECTED, I only need two of them, one for each additional line.Thirdly, they are UL listed and NEMA rated, so I know I am getting quality electrical devices with significant safety certifications.Fourth, they come will a full set of instructions to assist the Do It Yourselfer get the job done right. And lastly, but by no means the least, they have a good looking low profile design that will make my additional power circuits not only dependably functional, but they will also be very nice looking! So, if you find yourself needing some GFCI circuit protection devices, whether it be for a new project, or for a much needed repair, do yourself a favor and give the ELEGRP 20 Amp Self-Test GFCI Outlet w/Nightlight some serious consideration.I'm confident that you will be as pleased with them as I am!
