Easy to install. Works like stated

Great coop fan
Thia fan is great! It only works when the sun is out but has a great breeze and keeps the air in the coop moving.

Works well
I used my solar fan as an exhaust fan for a 10'x20' storage shed. There were two existing gable vents, but with the addition of this exhaust fan it pulls air in the gable vents whenever there is sun. My only complaint would be the "flap" doesn't seal so it leaves an access point for bugs (particularly when the fan isn't running) and, since the unit extends a few inches from the exterior wall, I haven't found a way to put any sort of cap on it yet.

The media could not be loaded. Works as it should. I pulled the gable took a dremmil to it. Cut it all out made it fit nice and snug. Keeps the gas smell out off the shed. Only wish the on/off switch was longer. Update the motor has lost a nut and screw and is off balance causing it to hit the fan frame. I will have to fix it

Unit not in working condition.
We bought this kit 1 year ago for the first time. It worked fantastic, so as the motor stopped working after 1 year we decided to get the kit again. Well,, we had a few issues. The fan propeller was off kilter, the whole motor assembly was loose,the front cover for the whole assembly was twisted. After working on this unit my husband ended up putting our old parts on the new motor. Thankfully we had kept the old unit. Not really happy with having to rebuild a brand new kit.
