This looks like it will do the trick. Installing was a breeze. Let’s see how it stands up to Florida’s sun and rain. I expect it will need painting.

Lots of nuts and bolts, BUT it was an easy install, very reasonable price and I suspect a long lifetime!

We have an outdoor fireplace with a very large opening that has always had trouble with moisture and getting it to start. After we installed this chimney cap, our outdoor fireplace experience was 100X better.We are not able to easily get the fire going, we don't have to worry when we get the fire too hot that embers will be ejected through the top, and overall gives it a very nice look.5 stars and very happy with it.Of note, I did need to cut a piece off metal roofing to create a solid base for it to sit on given my opening was much larger than the cap.

I need the assembly instructions. There were none in the box.

The 10x10 that I got is very nice. It feels durable and should handle the elements just fine. Once everything is installed, it has a very minimal flex, if any. Assembly is a no-brainer. The black paint coat seems adequate, but only time will tell on that one. Including the brackets, my cover weighed 5lbs 14oz. Pictured dimensions were accurate. The “rim” from the bottom to the mesh is 2 inches high.

My chimney cap arrived today. Only issue was it came out of the box dented. Fixable but dented.

I bought two. The product is well-designed. I like them. The only problem I have is one of them missing a G bolt. I called Amazon. They can't do anything but ask me to return it. they also suggested me to google the brand to contact manufacturer. However, I couldn't find it.
