I never heard of JJ’s Bakery before. I was craving some apple pies and came across them on Amazon. All I can say that I took a chance ordering from them and they did not disappoint me. I found the apple pies delicious.

I am extremely disappointed in my purchase of the JJ's Bakery Pie Ultimate Variety Pack. The pies are advertised as Artificial Flavor, but the filling has No Flavor. I tried the Lemon one first, expecting to taste a tart lemon taste, but my palate didn't taste anything. Today, I purchased a lemon pie, made by a bread and pastry company, and I tasted the tart lemon flavor that I expected. I just wanted make sure my taste buds were accurately workingIf you do decide to eat these pies, be sure to freeze them, because some of the pies arrived broken and their cardboard boxes are not airtight, and the pies will spoil. That is probably the reason why the bottom of their 12-pack box states to freeze immediately. Individually boxed pies do not mention the need to freeze. For me, I'm not going to waste freezer space for these tasteless pies.

For the second time, this product arrived greasy with individual boxes open under the plastic covering. The boxes are greasy and have come apart on the ends. Product fell out onto floor from first box. Then I noticed the product was moldy on one end rendering it inedible. I didn’t look yet to see if the other boxes contain moldy product but most of the individual boxes are open and moist so I am afraid to eat any of it.The boxes were moist and falling apart last time I ordered this item but I figured maybe that was a one time deal. I will not be ordering this product again, which is sad because if you get a good batch, they are delicious

The chocolate pies were good. However the pie crust was somewhat hard and way too sugary. We might try them again and hope they are more soft and not to much sugar. I need expiration date also.

As a lover of the old Hostess Lemon filled pies, I was sad when I could not find them in stores any longer. I found these online and was very excited to try them!! What I found was good, however, I was expecting better. Pie crust is tasty, but too moist. The product does state "lightly glazed" which is accurate. I would like more glaze and a crispier crust. That being said, who doesn't like a good hand held pie??!! The filling was a bit too gelatinous. Maybe too much corn starch in the filling? I would have liked a stronger lemon taste. I'm not giving up though!! I'm ordering the lemon cream pies to compare!! Also, the blackberry pies are to die for!! (Just want more glaze)

A nice size for a dessert and very tasty

These are really dried out low quality pocket pies. The filling is made from God knows what and doesn't resemble anything that you would consider a pie filling. It reminds me of something that you would find in a nuclear shelter that had been stocked in the sixties and just opened up after sixty years. Not something that you would really want to eat. In fact, the only positive thing that I can say about these fossils, is that they have nice looking packaging. Unfortunately, its not the packaging you are supposed to eat and yet the pie tastes more like cardboard packaging than a tasty pie.

Very disappointed in the quality of these pies, I purchased the JJ's apple pies at Costco and they were amazing but these, not so much! Also didn't get apple or cherry as advertised in the variety pack.
