Great looks! LED bulbs need to be brighter.
I bought these as a simple replacement for OEM lights. Direct install. No issues. I had to replace the LED bulbs as they were not very bright. The upgraded LEDs made all the difference.

Worked as expected
I was kind of worried since most aftermarket kits had mixed reviews. Everything turned out fine, although the light didn’t fit the curve of the roof so I made sure to use plenty of silicone when installing. I also used aftermarket LED bulbs since these looked kind of cheap and I didn’t want to worrky about them/I wanted brighter bulbs. Overall, I woul recommend.

Replacement driving lights for RV
Used these to replace 3 out of the 5 running lights that were out on the front of my Jayco class C RV. Had to cut and splice the wires as they were not a quick disconnect from the factory at Jayco. These installed perfectly where the original one was and give me the ability to replace the bulb instead of the whole light like the old ones where.

Product was great, but we were unable to install. Product was not a retro fit. If it had been used we would have had to drill into our truck and splice working harness! To technical!

I really like the lenses but the bulbs are not bright at all. My halogens out brighter. Also one of the LEDs didn’t work when I received the package (company replaced)

Wow, was this a huge mistake.
I have a '99 F250 Crew Cab 7.3 that came with the factory cab lights. I bought this set thinking the smoke would look better and my original yellow lights which had faded and the gaskets had started to leak. I was going to upgrade from regular bulbs to LED bulbs also. First let me say that I am very experienced in working on my truck and making modifications many way more complicated than installing 5 little lights. This should have been an easy 30 minute upgrade. But, it was far from it.The wiring harness included with these lights requires that you basically cut off the plugs on the factory harness or use squeeze connectors into the factory harness. (no squeeze connectors or any wiring connectors included of any kind with this kit.) This kit should have plugged right into the factory harness, but it does not. The little pig tails with plugs on the factory harness are only about 3-4 inches long so the best option is to cut the plugs off the factory harness and wire in the new harness with squeeze butt connectors or by soldering the connections. The included harness is also the bulb holder on one end and stripped wires on the other. This is a completely different design than the factory lights and how they connect. At first, I tried to use the original Ford light bases but the original bases point the LED bulbs straight up so when you put in an LED bulb the brightest part of the bulb is pointing up towards the sky. I installed it that way at first and even after trying a different brand of LED bulb, the lights were just not very bright. So I removed everything and tried to install the black bases of this kit. Because the bases hold the light at an angle, the wire would now rub on the corner of hole the sheet metal of the cab. The ford factory lights have two bolts that come through the roof and the bolt heads are secured in the fixture so you can install the lock washer and nut and tighten them up without the bolt turning or needing someone to hold it from the outside. The base for these lights come with cheap sheet metal screws. The included screws are too small to use the existing factory bolt holes in the sheet metal and there was no way to fasten the light to the cab. The only way to make it work was to move the lights and drill more holes in the cab roof and I was not about to do that. This forced me to head to the hardware store and buy 10 small stainless pan head machine screws, nuts, washers, and lock washers to be able to complete the install. I found it impossible to use the screws without having a second person to keep the screws from turning while installing the nuts from the inside. Of course, I had to completely remove the headliner in the truck to do this. As the bolts were tightened up the base of the lights started to bow upward away from the cab. The front of the light would lift up and the back of the light would lift up and it was clear that water, crud, and debris would get underneath the base and leak and also make it difficult to wash the truck around the lights without also scrubbing underneath the edge of the lights. The front of the light would lift up 1/4 inch off the roof and almost as much in the rear. No matter what I did, when I would tighten them down the slightest bit, they would bow upward with the included gaskets. Without bolts, they would lie flat against the roof. After fooling around with these stupid lights for hours, I finally had to ditch the included foam gaskets and install these on the cab using a ton of silicone caulk underneath the lights. Once the included gaskets were removed, the light bases would sit almost flush to the roof of the truck when tightened down. The bases of the original Ford OEM lights fit the roof of the cab perfectly when tightening the bolts up. These are constructed from thin, cheap plastic with no reinforcement around the screw holes and are no where as durable as the original lights. Before it was over, I had wasted an entire day trying to install 5 little lights. Since completing my install, three of the light bases have cracked and will have to be completely replaced. The best advice I can give, is that if you have the factory lights on your truck just keep them and do not replace them with this junk. It will be extremely difficult for me to go back and reinstall the factory lights now that the factory plugs have been cut off but I guess that is what I will have to do because I will not buy another set of these to replace the ones that have already cracked. This was a huge mistake. I absolutely despise buying anything from the Ford dealer, but this is one case where I wish I had just gone and purchased the Ford lights and spent more money to replace the factory OEM lights that were there originally.Update 3/19/19. Everyone of these began collecting water inside the light and each base cracked. Most likely because I over tightened the fasteners trying to get them to sit flush against the roof. It would be a huge deal for me change back now to the OEM harness after having to cut all the plugs off. As much as I hated to do it, I purchased another set of these to try and fix this. I removed all of these from the first installation and threw them away and installed another set. I just barely tightened them down. They have not cracked yet, but do stick up 1/8" or more in the back and that is without using the included foam gasket. Meaning that they do not sit flush against the roof still. I fully expect them to leak water into the cab so I plan on caulking around the outside of the lights to try and prevent water travelling underneath the light.
