Easy install, very stout
These hinges had me worried when I began installing them, but once everything was tightened down the barrels and channels lined up perfectly. These things are heavy and make the OE hinges feel absolutely anemic by comparison. The metal is thicker, the fit between pieces is nice and tight without binding. I am very happy with the overall quality of these hinges. Time will tell as I can't comment on the corrosion resistance or durability, but looking at the hinges when installing them the coating appears heavy and the metal felt tough. For the price it's well worth the "risk".

Great for the price
These fit for the most part. I had to perform some very minor mods. One of the supports was closer 92 degrees. Secured in the vice and couple small taps with the hammer. The male fittings were about 1/16th long. Secured each and ground off a little on each. Everything worked great after the mods. Material was thicker than the original OEM hardware.

nice strong hinges
On my 2003 Silverado 3500, these bolted right on and fit tight. the cup for the right side was really tight. The part that bolts to the truck on the old OEM was actually cupped metal, the new ones were solid and welded well. My tailgate is like new with all the parts including these I added. Definitely recommend these for $15. I'm happy.

Perfect replacement part
Excellent. Worked perfectly, installed quickly. Fit as expected. Was part of replacement of the tailgate bezel/handle and my old hinges were showing rust aand a little bent. I sprayed some grease on the for continued smooth operation. Can’t go wrong.

These tailgate hinges do the job.
This was a lot less expensive than ordering them from the Gm garage, and the quality seems fine… on my truck for maybe a couple months now and they’re working great!
