This table is very nice. It works well in our livingroom. Our house was hit by the May 20 2013 tornado in Moore OK so we had to buy all new furniture. We were having a hard time finding a coffee table and end tables to work with the new sofa and recliner that we both agreed on. This table with the end tables from the same Sauder design work great. Previous comments about the lack of assembly instructions was correct. When I got home from work my husband was taking the top off the table since he put it on backwards. But all in all a good buy.

I knew I was buying a cheap table, but it was cheaper than expected. Water rings caused the MDF/particle board to bubble under the thin veneer. The hinges that allow the table to life were wobbly. When moving the table, some of the pieces pulled right off and once it's built, you can't put them back on without taking apart the whole table, so I just duct taped them on. After a few months, I ended up buying a $500 table to replace it because I realized being cheap wasn't going to work.

I bought this bcus we needed a taller table to eat on. I thought this woukd be perfect since it lifts up . Only, it lifts away from you and not infront like I had hoped. If i would have taken the xtra time I would have noticed this in the photo. My bad. Still cool , i guess.

Really great for a college dorm or starter family. Overall cheap construction and it certainly won't last if you attempt to disassemble and reassemble it when moving. All the metal accents are cosmetic and do not add to the structural integrity. Basically a descent looking laminated particle board box with some descent engineering

Great coffee table, sturdy, the lift top and storage have been very handy. My only complaint is assembly. Some parts were not labeled and the directions were a bit confusing but I was able to assemble in just under 4 hours.

BOUGHT TABLE AS XMAS GIFT AND SEEMS SOMEWHAT STABLE. GOES UP AND DOWN WELL BUT SEEMS A LITTLE WOBBLY WE WILL SEEI F IT MAKES IT LONG TERM{ 5 PLUS YEARS}. VERY CONVIENET AND USEFUL.

This item should not appear when you search for assembled furniture. It is not assembled whatsoever. Will update as to ease of assembly once I get done being angry.*** Post Assembly Edit ***Definitely made for people who don't read the instruction booklet. Most of the pieces were not labeled. Some screws and washers were missing, requiring a trip to the hardware store. And absolutely requires two people to put it together. Two people with A LOT of patience. Once put together, it looks nice, just like the description, and functions properly. However........If anything ever happens to this table, ie: loss, destruction, etc.... I will NEVER buy it again.

I would like it better if the edges were rounded a little! Otherwise its very nice. It works well. And my husband had no problem putting it together.
