The climbing experts at Notch set out to create the most user-friendly harness on the market and created the Notch Sentinel Saddle. This saddle gives the climber options, from rope bridge length to placement of a chainsaw lanyard. The leg loops, waist belt and bridge paw position are all highly adjustable with easy to use buckles. Contoured mesh padding on the back and legs provides excellent breathability and comfort, while the elastic waistband keeps the saddle sitting snugly on your waist. With high quality materials that are strong without being bulky, the harness is also incredibly lightweight. The Sentinel provides all of the features a modern climber needs to be safe, efficient, and comfortable while working at height, precision engineered by Notch Equipment.

Nice Saddle
I've spent most of my career climbing on a traditional split suspension saddle. Primarily Weaver (great). This saddle was the perfect upgrade. Loops, etc. very well thought out for someone like me. Muscle memory has me storing items in certain areas and there are the loops needed for that there. Huge upgrade in terms of weight and ease of use.Cons. Sizing is difficult. Read the reviews. I wear a 32" to 33" pants. I purchased size 1. It does fit. The waist is almost maxed out and the thighs have a ton of room. If you are a little bigger than me and read the other reviews then you may fall in the gap where neither size fit you.If it fits, I recommend it.

BUY THIS!
Tried it out immediately after opening it. This is my first nice saddle and idk what else i would want. Hung around in the tree about an hour and have no sore spots from the legs or back. The rope bridge is great for allowing motion to work. And my favorite part is the rigging plates the bridge is connected to. Will take a lot of pressure off my back while lanyard on to branches all day. All around a great buy if you're going to be in a tree more than 30min!

Horrible sizing.
The sizing is horrible, size 2 fits my waist but the legs are way two big. Sent it back and got a size 1 , on this one I'm maxed on the waist but the legs are perfect. Also the buckles are not user friendly.

BEST HARNESS EVER
I've had many different saddles over the years from buckingham to weaver. they are all bulky and heavy once all the gear is on and usually require suspenders. The Notch harmess is so adjustable and fits right that i don't have the issue of the harness slipping with my saw and landyard etc. the Harmess is hands down the best saddle I've ever used. i spend many hours doing removals and im comfortable the whole time and can move so freely. i recommend this harness to anyone looking for one to start or the old timers looking for a change. keep designing great harmesses ill keep coming back.

Good product but runs small
Does great for climbing with flip line or with ropes. The leg straps are great and I love all the extra loops that you can attach things to. I wear a 34 in pants so I am at the higher end of the smaller size but struggle to get it to latch. The smaller size probably would end at a 32.

Durable, efficient, great value harness
Great harness for the money, ecspecially in comparison to other competitors on the market for 500- 600 dollars.I removed the belly wrap that came with the harness I found it to be unnecessary and an added feature without a true use.My Only dislike of this harness is I have found out that when I am running a double rope system or suspended off of both the rigging plates on the thigh area is pulls the leg straps up tight causing them to dig into the top of my legs. I have tried tightening the leg straps to prevent this with no luck.Overall this harness is great, multiple attachment points for gear no matter where you want it on the harness, it's been durable and I haven't had any issues.

Great harness, waist size 34-36 beware
Really like the harness however, I thought being 5'9" 180lb 34in waist i would be fine in a size 1 with a respectable couple inches to spare. I can barely get the waist belt to latch. The left over strap is maybe an inch long indicating too small. I have roughly a 10 in of adjustment left over in the legs though. But otherwise very comfortable and good quality. WAIST SIZE 34+ BEWARE you will not be able to wear this harness in the winter with extra clothing and size 2 will be much too large.
