I suppose unlike most people, I bought this to shoot prone off of a concrete shooting range/floor. Most shooting mats are way too thin, and too expensive, and come with too much stuff I dont need. All I want is a soft surface to shoot prone from. This delivers and is just the right size (small enough to travel, big enough to lay down on). Im sure its good for gymnastics, I wouldn't know.

Perfect for my budding gymnast for use under her balance beam! Well made, heavy grade material. Will definitely consider this buyer in the future when I add more equipment.

this description does not give proper dimensions, you would assume it is 4x8 but it is not. Don't be fooled, it is smaller than normal.

I bought this for an add on to another gymnastics mat that I had purchased and it looked just like the one I have already. Wrong! Its smaller and thinner I do normally look at the reviews before purchasing something however this time I didn't and well lesson learned. But my son took it outdoors and used it as a sled before I could return it so it made for one expensive sled ha ha. So if it didn't serve as some sort of purpose I would give it 1 star :)

This is a nice mat but very narrow and short my grandaughter could not do any tricks on it as its too short and very narrow

I bought a Ford Transit Connect specifically for my German Shepard and to camp in. I needed a really well padded cushion for the back. I bought it six years ago and It is just like new. My 150 lb Shepard jumps into the car and there aren't any claw marks or tears. I'm actually amazed. This is a very good product so long as they have not changed their manufacturing ingredients since I purchased mine six years ago. This is the problem I have noticed. What we bought a year ago is being produced differently each year to cut corners making the same good product more inferior with each passing year. Hopefully they have not done this to that product.

This is a great mat that can take a lot of use and abuse before it eventually falls apart. One added benefit is that it can easily be folded and tucked away when you are done using it. Just the right size for me!

I've used this mat for 3/wk workouts which involve core exercises (planks, crunches, leg lifts, etc). It is sufficiently sturdy and thick to buffer a 240 lbs man from a tile floor. It is not a thin yoga mat. I wish it had handles as it can be awkward when carrying into the workout room with a water bottle, towel, etc. But I like it and would buy it again as the quality is good and I think it'll last a long time.
