6 CH 28 Band EQ Bluetooth Processor (PX2CONNECT)

Finally Installed the DSP over the weekend. (5/6/23). Game changing. I used to sell Audio Control EQs back in the day and who really wants to pay the Audio Control price for a DSP. I suggest downloading the Expert App and play with the demo mode and get used to setting the crossover points. Once you figure out the app, this dsp will make you smile. I'm running two cerwin vega cheap xed 6.5 components and a cerwin Vega xed 4" in each front doors. Can't imagine what it would sound like with CDT or Focal, but I'd put the $35.00 cerwins up against them with this Expert DSP behind them. Cleaned up my sub-bass, bass, mid, and upper frequencies. Only played with it for about an hour before the daughter need the car. Lots of adjustments to play with and presets to store setups in. Best $140 buck you can spend on a car audio piece of equipment. Especially if your on a budget. Would recommend to anyone looking for clean sound.

There are products that you buy and fit the bill. Occasionally you get a product that works great. And then, once in a while, you find the unicorn that forever changes your life. This DSP is a unicorn. Works great, good sound quality, and the app works. This however is not for your non-technical user. If you want flashy lights more than sound tunability, go elsewhere. If you want to tweak your soundsystem to every detail, this is the one for you. Reminds me of old school gear smashed against today's tech.This will take a few minutes to learn how to use. The youtube vids can help even though many are in a different language. If you have a ground whine, make sure you have all of your equipment coming from the same good power souce with everything grounded together.Be ready to elevate your audio!

The media could not be loaded. I was real skeptical about buying this DSP.. but now I'm happy I did. This things controls everything in my ride and you can tune everything by using the the app. Once you set the crossovers for your desired frequency, you can use the EQ to fine tune everything. This is a pretty nice DSP I really like it. Would recommend it but here's something to note. This thing is popular in Brazil and half of the videos on YouTube about how to use this product is in another language. But once you learn it you're Golden!!

Initial ReviewNote that I'll need to come back and give more updates. These are just my initial impressions.Shipping - COVID19 affected the processing time. Once shipped, it was here in a few days. I expect it would have been very fast under normal conditions.Packaging - I'm not docking a star here but be advised it is very minimal: arrived in the original carton with no padding or protection at all. The carton was kind of banged up. I fully expected some damage. Fortunately, it does not appear there was. Btw, instructions that came in the box were Portuguese. Not a problem though since it is not rocket science.Functionality- I gave it power, fed it a signal, and routed outputs to an amp powering front components and rear coaxials. Everything came through clean and clear. Power out of the RCAs was very good.Then, played with the dial and buttons. It was surprisingly easy to make adjustments that way.Next, I opened the Expert app and tried to connect. The app could have a nicer GUI. It is very basic in terms of visual design and aesthetics, but it connected no problem and worked on my Samsung Note 8 just fine. It is not bad so far and is functional. I applied some filters to channels and that seemed easy. I did not check to see how well they worked, but there were many options.All in all, I am very happy with this. I tried the Pioneer Deq-s1000a, and it had many issues. It was not a good product: the app didn't work for Android, or my wife's iPhone X, but did work with my iPad Pro; power out was low; and there were major limitations like not being able to EQ individual speakers. This product is already looking like it blows that other unit out of the water. The only thing it doesnt have is a built in amo, which I don't need.I'll give some pictures and maybe even video when I get a chance to tune.

At this price, you won’t find a better DSP. The Bluetooth app works great. It’s so convenient, I don’t think I could ever use a laptop ever again. With patience and listening you can make any system sound good. Highly recommend this unit if you’re on a budget.
