Casio has been my go-to calculator brand for over 30 years, and the MS-80B is no exception. It’s reliable, easy to use, and perfectly suited for everyday calculations. The buttons have a satisfying feel, and the display is clear and easy to read. Whether for work, school, or home use, this calculator delivers consistent performance at a great price. I trust Casio to keep making quality products, and this model lives up to that reputation.

The display is tilted upward - which is great. Feels more like a miniature 10-key then calculator. You can’t do better than an old school Casio. My last one (from waaaay back) is still working but. Don’t calculate Trig functions anymore (thankfully). Oh, and that one has solar and a battery. I may have replaced that better once. Not bad for something that sat in a box for a decade or two.

This is so convenient. I really need this to attempt to figure things out. I can't get by without a calculator and we have had one very similar to this for many years.

My favorite desk calculator. Well built, nice size buttons, and heavy enough to sit on top of a desk without sliding around. Buttons provide a good feel and a slight noise to give feedback. Very easy to read. Colorway is not the traditional Casio calculator but looks great.Only downside is some people do not like how the percent off function works. For some this could be a deal breaker, but not a huge issue for others.

I've been using my small, but trusty Casio SL-300SV for several years now, but eyesight when you start pushing into your 50s surely starts to wane. Enter, the Casio MS-80B...Very similar layout to my previous calculator so no need for me to get used to different locations mainly for the math operations buttons, + - x ÷. LOVE the slightly tilted display that eliminates the potential of seeing those faint, boxy, background 888888's when viewed off-center. Even though it's dual powered (mainly solar, but button battery as backup), I still prefer the OFF button as I store it on my desktop and don't want it to kick into battery usage if desk is dark and I'm finished using it.Only negative IMO is the odd way to calculate +/- percentages. Instead of hitting 100 + 5 %, you need to hit 100 X 5 % +. This is definitely not intuitive but I'll learn, even at my age, in time.Overall though, this is EASILY my favorite basic calculator!!!
