Great All Round Motherboard
Nice solid motherboard. I had to have this as a replacement for a H97 Gigabyte motherboard (from a different supplier) so it was just a straight refit of all previously used parts and only took a few minutes to have everything set up and running. Then it was just a couple of minutes to set up the new drivers and everything was OK until re-activating Windows again. I have had the motherboard running now for about 5 or 6 weeks and everything is running smoothly. The only problem I had was when the sound stopped working through the speakers. It took me a couple of days searching to find out that the sound drivers had been updated automatically by 'Driver Update Pro' and once I reinstalled the original drivers everything was working properly again. The only thing that I found to be a little bit of a pain with this motherboard was the sata ports. On the H97 motherboard it was just a straightforward click into the face but with this motherboard you had to click the leads in at right angles. If I was a little younger this probably wouldn't have been a problem bit with my old wrists now it was a little bit of a problem. All in all though this is proving to be a very reliable and quick motherboard with plenty of overclocking options that can bee changed either directly within the windows environment through the use of the Gigabyte apps or on boot up, whichever you find easier.

Excellent board
Good board, nice Bios, healthy amount of features including all important sli/crossfire. Really really like the fast boot. On a standard HDD and windows 8 with fast boot enabled, my PC can get from the bios screen to login screen can take around 5 seconds. No complaints about this board!

Good for the price I paid.
Comes with all the connectors and features you need and a few premium features like sata express and M.2. Features that I sadly won't use. Overall, good quality and shows that GIGABYTE care.

Brilliant motherboard for your build
Really great motherboard. I bought it for my first ever build and it's perfectly labeled and fantastic to use. Comes with all the cables I need to connect everything up and I'm looking forward to using the SLI cable in the future.

And fits easily into my corsair 600T case
I purchased this mobo for my new build.It's the ideal board for my i7 4790K and my GTX 970.And fits easily into my corsair 600T case.The only thing i was bothered about was I might have to re-install windows 8.1 as this mobo was a different chipset to my last.On boot up it ran perfectly but i did have to use a new product key ( luckily i had purchased a new copy of win 8.1

Disappointed
I got this board for gaming, it keeps freezing during gaming even with bios update. I ordered another board and with the same components is works perfectly, I tested this board with Wolfenstein and Watchdog which both keep freezing.Gtx 660 msi 16 gb vengeance ram

problem child!
how ever this motherboard worked with my i5 4460 it was great but when i upgraded to an i7 4790k that is wheb it all began, all the problems and let downs, nothibf BUT problems and letdowns constantly overheating and having no control over the board with the i7 it is useless but with an i5-i3 its great i tried two different i7's with this board and they BOTH had the same problem (overheating up to 100°c) so all im saying is, only get this board if you dont have an i7 or even going to get an i7 in the future!
