Ears Protected, Music Heard!
Quality is solid, fit is greatThey don’t attenuate as much sound as my others but that’s a good thing! These allow more of the sound to come through and function really well for most concerts.Solid value overall, carry case is easy annd the right size and my ear are protected!

Got these for concerts
I specifically bought these to wear for concerts. I first tried them out during a weekend music festival where I was right near the speaker and these were great! I was able to hear the music and signing without the ear pain! The true test came when I wore them to the Eras tour. These were perfect! You could hear Taylor and the music and I could even hear people when they talked to me. I never took them out at the concert, I was afraid of how loud it was going to be and I was still able to have conversations and hear the show AND leave without ear pain.I do agree about how confusing it would be to place these in your ear in the dark, but I just remembered red for right and placed them deep into my ear until it sealed. With the tabs it was very easy to remove the ear plugs. I would not remove them until you need to because I can see how these would be easy to lose.

Confusing packaging and Amazon listings, but I'm told these are the great.
I bought these based on a recommendation from a co-worker. We both work in the Professional Audio world. He has years of experience, is a musician, and has worked as an audio engineer. I find that these fit nicely and are comfortable. I have not yet worn them in a situation to test their noise protection. My review is more related to the posting and how hard it was to determine if I was buying the right product. So I saw multiple listing (not unusual) for the Medium size. But each listing had different decibel ratings (16 or 31) and even tried to find a model or part number, but that was difficult to determine if there was an actual difference or multiple models. I assumed they might have two levels of protection. I purchased the one that stated the 31 dB of protection.Even after getting them, the packaging is also confusing. I almost thought I got the wrong one, but after more closely looking at the package, I could see that it had 16 dB (noise reduction rating) and 31dB (Peak). So I can see the confusion. The 31dB Peak reduction at 3150 Hz. The 16 dB rating is based on the lowest protection level. I've read a few listing were people said they wore these and still had hearing damage. I'll just say, that is ignorance and stupidity on their part. Sounds at 85 dB for an extended period of time will cause hearing damage. 120 dB will cause immediate damage. A concert is rated at 120 dB and that is an average. If you get right up to stage PAs, that is going to be a much higher dB level. If these have a max of -31 dB (at 3150 Hz, a very specific sound frequency) that is only going to reduce the "average" to 90 dB at 3150 Hz. You should expect a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz at a concert and if you are close to the PA System, it will be much higher than 120 dB, so you will experience hearing lose in that situation, no matter what "ear plugs" you use.Just be smart about your hearing! Also, there is no clear "Model Number" to relate to the product listing.

Awesome hi-fidelity earplugs - easy to put in and comfrotable!
I went with a medium as the description said it fits 70% of people. It did in fact fit great. Compared to the loop experience earplugs I also own - these are more comfortable to wear and are not noticeable. I plan to use these at music festivals, but decided to test them at a concert at MSG. They worked great - and actually kind of saved me because 2 girls were screaming at high blast sporadically throughout the show (I didnt think I would need these for that haha). But after the show was over my friends who were also with me said I was lucky I brought them because their ears hurt by the end. Very happy with these - if you are worried about ordering the wrong size the company says they are happy to help so I assume they would send the right size free - dont hesitate the grab these for your next event!

May be ok for music but not motorcycling
These just don't reduce the exhaust or wind noise enough and frankly I found them to be uncomfortable for long periods of use. Still searching for a set of earplugs that can work for my needs beyond the standard silicone kind.

Excellent for hearing but without the pain of loud sound
What is it for -when you want to hear what people say and what goes around you, but the sound level is too high. Good for music concerts, conversing on airplaines etc.If you want a total blockage of sound, you should get level 50Size -when in doubt, get the larger size. If the plugs are too small, they will not do their jobIf you get the wrong size, contact the company directly. They will also be able to give you advice.AppearanceClose to invisible once in the ear.StorageThe earplugs come with a white-clear container. There is no need to buy a separate box unless you want a color that sticks out and will help prevent losing the plugs. Be diligent about where you place the plugs when you take them out of your ears. They are clear but can be hard to locate. Be responsible even if usually you are not. It's worth it.I love my earplugs and recommend to anyone who wants to protect thier hearing.
