Sleek, Smooth, Sharp travel bluetooth mouse
The Gigabyte m7700B mouse is a fantastic mouse for anyone who needs a ergonomical, portable, bluetooth/wireless, and compatible mouse. I currently operate in a linux (Ubuntu 12.04) environment and I'm limited to three usb ports which I use frequently for numerous storage and printing devices. So I didn't want to give up any of my usb ports to a dongle, additionally, my laptop came equipped with bluetooth. So I searched across the web and narrowed it down to this mouse and microsoft 5000 bluetooth mouse. I choose this one because 1.) it was slightly cheaper and provided 1600 DPI 2.) using a microsoft product in linux doesn't guarantee much support. To sum it up, after a day of use this mouse is excellent. The build quality is substantial and is fully compatible with Unbutu 12.04 ( all button work properly). One thing to keep in mind is this is a travel mouse so it is fairly small. I also wished it came with a nice carry bag rather than a plastic box.

Amazing portable mouse
First, a lot of people complain about the mouse being to small, my answer to that is: DEPENDS!. If you are going to use this mouse as your primary desktop/gaming mouse, then yes it might be too small for extended usage compared to an ergonomic full-sized gaming mouse. Now if you are going to use this as your laptop/ultra-book/netbook wireless portable mouse then it's perfect because it's exponentially better than any track pad.Second, this mouse has all the standard features of a full size mouse: back and front thumb buttons, scroll wheel and click, 2 different dpi(the higher the dpi,the further the cursor moves with the slightest motion of the mouse.)Third, you don't need a ridiculous usb antenna that uses up one of your usb slots. My ultrabook has bluetooth built in, thus making mouse syncing great and no need for any receiver to be attached to the machine. All I have to do is turn on mouse and on avg. it syncs in 1 sec (longest I have waited for the sync is around 5 secs)Fourth, it's reliable (laser) and 2 AAA batteries last long time ( like 2 months with heavy usage) I have noticed if you leave mouse alone it goes to sleep then when it senses motion it re-syncs just as fast. Great battery saving feature. led blinks red when when low battery.Fifth, the side are rubber a have a nice grip to them.Sixith, Bang for buck. Price of this mouse for the quality is great.Overall, being a computer engineer and long time computer gamer I have gone through a bunch of mouses , some have annoyed me to the point I have smashed them against the floor in moments of rage because of their poor performance. In other words, I'm a critical customer when it comes to electronics. So trust me when I say, this mouse blows a lot of dominant manufacturers compact mouses out of the water. I bought 2 extra mouses just in case they ever stop manufacturing this product.Pfft. too small?! It must be lebron james or shaq buying this mouse for desktop usage and writing those "too small" reviews.

Am fairly happy ... until
I got a new laptop with Bluetooth 4.0. But instead of tying up a USB port like I do with my work laptop, I wanted to use the Bluetooth connection for a wireless mouse. Was very disappointed that Logitech really doesn't have a great selection when it comes to Bluetooth mice. Saw this one and decided to give it a try. Fairly easy to set up (once I found out how in Windows 8) and haven't had a problem since. It disconnected last night but I think that was more Windows 8 than the mouse. I removed the mouse and added it back and it was fine. I like the sensitivity and the functionality. Fits well in my hand. Easy to switch off and on. Glad I picked it up.Update: A couple months later and both mine and my son's mouse no longer connect. It was four stars and now just one. Sadly, both mice stopped functioning after the warrantee period so I'm stuck with them. Replaced mine with an HP Bluetooth mouse that has worked every single day. And that is five months longer than this one. Don't buy.
