30Pcs NE555P Single Precision Timer with Sockets, NE555N NE555 Timer Chip IC Pulse Generator (Pack of 30) CYT1108

I bought these about 7 months ago and have finally gotten around to using them...unfortunately, they do not seem to work. I built a project around a 'known working' TI NE555P and the project was successful. I swapped out the TI chip for these (tried several) but none of them worked. Also can't seem to find the datasheet for them either nor do I recognize the logo. If anyone can find the DS on these, let me know :) Maybe I'm using them wrong somehow.

I ordered these expecting them to be a generic 555 ic as in the pictures, but I seem to have received actual TI chips. Getting a handful of extra sockets is nice too. You probably won't need one socket for every one of these you use, but 8-DIP is so common it's nice to have on hand. It also came with a little plastic box that was roomy enough to keep the pins from bending unlike some of the other ICs i've ordered through amazon.

Works as advertised. Fun to play with. Sturdy legs on both the ic and sockets.

Works like any other 555 timer. Nice to have a socket for PCBs, but at this price, not necessary.Delivered promptly, packed well.
