Tire shows little wear during course of life!
This is a very durable tire. Has outlasted every tire I've ever placed on my bike! Sure it may weigh a little more than those flimsy light weight tires, but wow the pay off is staggering. I call them my .0001 pennies per mile tires. Seriously, if you want durable, go for these. I highly recommend tire liners, Mr Tuffy comes to mind, to make this tire a little more heavy, but one stays flat free! Oh and I average an hour or 2 hour ride daily, so consider this as well.

Cheap and durable
I have used these as my go-to tire for all-around riding on a hybrid and a fixed gear bike, and they generally work great. They get pretty good traction, they are surprisingly tough, and they offer relatively low roll resistance for a non-slick tire. I ride extensively in an urban environment with a lot of road debris, including broken glass and metal fragments, and I don't get many flats with these tires. I also venture off-road a bit and these have stood up well to the sharp stones and sticks of wooded trails. On my hybrid, I have used these on multiple century rides and I think one set lasted at least 1,000 miles and would have still been going strong if my bike hadn't been stolen. Perhaps the thief is still enjoying their reliability.Right now, I ride a fixed gear exclusively, and these are still one of my top picks. I skid stop a lot, and under those conditions I can expect one of these to last me about six weeks on my rear, while the front will last indefinitely with only minimal sign of wear. Because of their low cost, I don't mind burning up a rear tire every month or two, and their relatively gummy tread provides a good enough grip to stop me faster in a skid than a Thickslick or similar tire. I have switched to using a Thickslick as my rear tire since my last Kwest fell victim to an especially long and sharp object, and while it is easier to skid with a slick, it doesn't provide the same braking power. I sometimes miss having a Kenda Kwest on the back.Overall, I recommend these for anyone who needs a good commuter tire that won't cost a lot but can still stand up to many miles of abuse. Fixed gear riders can skid to their heart's content without the guilt that comes with thrashing an expensive tire.

Awesome but not all the same.
These are great tires at an incredible price. I experienced awesome grip on nearly all surfaces, slow treadwear and very good durability. I love these tires and probably wont bother buying anything else for normal day to day riding.*I just want to report a little observation. See the attached picture of my Kenda Kwest K193 tires. The first set tires I received January 2015 were marked K193-003. Please note the very thin sidewall and visible casing. The tire received today is marked K193-017. It's a heavier tire, was slightly more challenging to install due to it not holding the tube and the sidewall is noticeably thicker. This isn't a big deal but I kinda preferred the older, thinner and slightly lighter set.

Good stuff
Excuse me now that have both take a look at with you giving me with the other stuffThere's one more thing I need to add though even though it's the same size I don't think that everything fits the same way can you make them a little more compatible to other sizez of 700

Didn't last two months
I haven't been riding much due to bad weather but I guess it was still too much for this tire. Tire got a hole and I am now trying to get an exchange through the manufacturer. My last tire lasted hundreds of miles and was only replaced because the tread wore down. This one didn't even last 50. You get what you pay for, I guess.

great value, beats Nashbar, but its a heavy tire for you hammer heads
I debated how many stars to give it; really, they deserve 5 stars, but they did not mention the weight, so I accept the outcome of my risk in purchase. After a thousand miles, this tire shows it is tough; but the tire weighs about 1.4 x a Continental gator skin, for those of you who are counting every single GRAM of your moving parts :)

Great tires....on the big side
Great tires....all you really need for city or trail. They are big however. I bought the 25c and they are practically the size of a set of 28c that I have. I measured approximately 1 mm smaller both width and height than the 28c tires. They did make it on an old italian 50cm road bike frame I'm working on and I like them a lot!
