Great Knife, Solution to CLIP Scratches in my Review
This knife is worth more than the asking price. I read a lot of reviews about the scratches due to the clip before I bought the knife, but decided to buy it anyway. Factory sharpened but comes to a nice razor edge. Very strong and solid in the grip. Perfect size for combat or in a jam with wild animals while hunting or in the wilderness.Solution to clip scratches: If you look in the sheath without the knife, you'll see a little piece of plastic that looks like it would come out if you stuck a blade between it. Stick a steak knife in there and it pops right out; it will fall in the sheath, just turn it over give a shake and it will come right out. You have just exposed the clip, which you can simply shake out or use the steak knife to wiggle it out. The clip is OPTIONAL! Place the little square plastic piece back with the sharp side up and give a tap with a heavier knife and it should go right back in. No more scratches! You can now do of of two things for a better fit. You can bend the clip so that it would not be so snug on the knife and put it back in or you can get a piece of leather the length of the blade cut it out as if it were a sheath; stitch the edge along the blade side, and you can put it back in the original plastic sheath for a nice snug fit. This will preserve the black paint on your knife. Enjoy.

SW3B on a Mossberg 590A1 Retrograde.
I purchased the SW3B M9 style bayonet specifically for use on my Mossberg 590A1 Retrograde. Can’t have a shotgun with a bayonet lug and no bayonet handy am I right? It fits the shotgun well, not perfect, but well. With just a little bit of effort, and I mean very little, it fits perfectly. The only criticism that I have so far is the wire bender/cutter feature. The post that serves as the pivot point for the blade is not tall enough to accommodate the thickness of the blade. This makes it impossible, at least on mine, to use the wire cutting/bending feature without some material modifications. This is not a major issue for me, just some feedback. All in all, a very good value. The blade is good, the handle and lug connector are very very solid. I will definitely purchase again if I have the need.

Hell-For-Stout
This is a great bayonet, built tough with everything you need. Includes a barbed wire cutter and a sharpening stone built into the molded sheath. There is even a nylon pocket sewn onto the sheath strap that is great for a little paracord, matches or some emergency gear. The fit to the sheath is very good for belt carry. Using it upside down on a vest is not recommended without the bolster straps as it will start to slide out. Bolster strap could be a little tighter but it is stitched on the sides and ends for extra security so fraying should be minimal over time and with wear. Straps are attached with rivets and screws. There is a quick detach buckle that allows removal of the knife in the sheath while still wearing the belt attachment. The knife itself is heavy duty. The blade is a little less than 1/4" thick. It looks to be powder coated which I see as a negative because when I used it to actually cut some wire it stripped off some of the finish on the blade where it rubbed on the blade pivot. This needs to be tight of course to cut wire but a black oxide finish would have been better protection. You can actually see the edge of the coating and this may strip off over time. Other than that the blade is sharp and cut several small branches easily. I wet the handle down to try it out both bare handed and with gloves and the polymer handle provides plenty of grip. For the money this is a nice knife.

Great knife, but doesn't mount to AR-15
I took off a star because based on the 'answered questions', it should fit a AR-15 style rifle. The retaining ring on the bayonet is not large enough to fit over my AR-15's flash suppressor, but even if it could, the connection lug at the base of the knife would not merge properly into my rail system. The diameter of the ring is at least a quarter inch too small. I suppose it may be possible for this knife to attach properly to an AR-15 rifle if the flash suppressor is more narrow, and if your rail system is designed in a way to accept the ring's tolerances, but I would caution against buying this for use as a bayonet on an AR-15, since my flash suppressor and rail is very standard. The reason I still gave this 4 stars is because the knife is awesome. It's large, sharp, and feels very sturdy at the handle. Perhaps even better than the knife is the case it comes in. The case is made of rugged plastic, and has snaps and buckles for easy attachment and release from a belt. It also includes a velcro pouch that, based on its size, I assume is meant for carrying a spare magazine for a handgun. There is what i believe to be a sharpener built into the case as well. It could possibly be flint, but i struck the blade against it and was unable to create sparks. When you push the knife in and out of the case, there is a very tight fitting due to a spring bar inside. this is convenient because it is nearly impossible for the knife to fall out of the sheath, even if the retaining straps are unsnapped. There is also a multi-tool screw-driver/opener combo at the base. Definitely can't carry this in public (concealed), as it is enormous, but it really is an awesome knife, especially for the price.

Quality inn the style of the knife looks excellent
But this for my cousin his birthday is around Christmas. Size is huge very sharp it appears to be easy to use and it also has a pouch for a flashlight curability I don't know safety it seems to be okay well the head edge hold I have no clue. But I know he'll love it. He's been talking about this for at least a year. I told his wife not to get him one because I already purchased it.

Very sharp and seems well made
Unfortunately it is not made in the US, but is made in Taiwan, which is better than made in the CCP.I recommend keeping the white blade cover, if you are going to practice affixing the bayonet to a firearm. The handle is good as is the scabbard. It mounts nicely on my Mossberg 590.
