We could not use this product despite getting advice .Maybe it’s our nieveity with technology or the item was purchased without fully understanding of its purpose of use

I must say that these smart plugs are really great and good value for money. Build quality is really good and it is easy to install.I found that there is two apps that can be used to setup and use Tuyasmart and Smart Life, both seems to be identical.Only down side is missing energy monitoring but that's available on little bit expensiver versions, which I'm going to buy now as well.

I am quite good on the tech side so was frustrated when I had rouble setting up. Read forums, tried various approaches with no success. Then it dawned on me that I had a VPN on my phone, turned it off for a moment and instant success. Now working and very happy with this. Set up for my Christmas lights and works a treat.

These are awful do not buy these. I bought these for a Christmas present and they won’t connect. We have tried all 4 plugs, different phones and re- booted the WiFi and nothing seems to work. I want a refund?!

Needed to temporarily set router to 2.4 ghz channel, not a problem for me, but won’t be good for anyone who is not used to delving through the router settings. Once this was done worked perfectly and configured timers via the app and connected and switched by voice command on Alexa. As these are not much more money than standard old type timers I would highly recommend

Using these for the Christmas lights. Easy to use and my husband is a big kid playing with the voice control. Will use them for the normal lighting rest of the year round.

I found it awkward to get it up and running and one of them blew on first use and I had to get it replaced. I used it for my Xmas lights and worked fine for that.

Arrived expected with Prime however the unit failed halfway through connecting and then won’t power up since. Seems like an entire electrical failure/fault and as it’s a sealed unit I can’t investigate. Having to return prior to getting a refund from Amazon. Seems a shame as it looked good quality and the size is very compact.
