Its Vortex. What more needs to be said?
I use Vortex Crossfire scopes on all my rifles. So went into this purchase with the knowledge of how good and affordable these binos were going to be. And they didnt disappoint.The really fit the bill for just about any person. Hunter, bird / nature watcher. Powerful enough to reach out with. Small enough to fit into most chest bino bags. They dont feel heavy or cumbersome. And the lens quality is amazing. So much so that they will focus as close as 10 feet from you. 10 FEET!!! As for distance, I could read the letters on a walmart box at 500 to 600 yards away.The only real complaint I have is the lens covers. But its not just these, its most brands. The rubber independent lens covers are just dumb. They are a pain to keep on when putting into a bino bag and always come off when pulling them out of the bag. Also in this price point you can expect no padding on the part that butts up to your eyes. Just hard plastic with a rubberized film. If Vortex would just work on those two aspects, they could take a bigger part of the market.

Just ok in terms of optics
Average at best. Not sure what the hype is about. I have a cheap pair of bushnells that do the same thing. I think the name costs more than the item.

Vortex.... Nuff' said
It's a Vortex product, so you can expect quality and performance. Vortex, if you aren't familiar with them, is one of the best companies you can buy optics from.Their customer service and care, is amazing. Personal care is paramount with them, whether it be a question or concern, or indepth technical inquiries, you can always expect the best from them.Pretty much, all my optics have been switched over to Vortex. Scopes, spotting scope, range finder and now my primary binoculars, are all Vortex. You can't go wrong.

Very clear and bright
I think these were mispriced. They were 50% less than the MSRP. I purchased them for a trip to Alaska and they were fantastic even on overcast, rainy days. The case comes with a chest strap for easy carry. I use them often on my ranch in East Texas, best bino's I've had.
