Minix NEO Z64-A Streaming Media Player (Black)

I bought this NEO z64 especially for skype. I have a logitech camera - Logitech B990 HD Webcam.The default camera app in minix device and skype shows me a green blurr image, I don't see our picture at all. I updated skype app but no luck.I am totally disappointed. I downloaded a third party camera app from google play. I was worried that my cam is not working properly.But it is working fine with new camera app. I will reach the MINIX support soon for any software updates.Other than this, it works as stated. I would have given 4.5 rating if it solves my actual purpose.

It's straight but next minix I get will be running windows for Kodi. You absolutely have to buy the air mouse remote. The one included is completely worthless.

I have three different android boxes, but this box is my go to device! The best brand for Android & Windows boxes by far is Minix! All of their products are high quality.. I just ordered newest product!

This was a used Box. The wires were not tied. None of the plastic was in the Box. It had finger pints all over it. The battery cover on the remote was broken. Oh and the Box DID NOT WORK!!!

Must have Android set top box.

I have bought many android boxes, and I have always recommended Minix devices. This Minix box is certainly the best of all. I can tell the difference in processor power compare it to the dual core and octal core devices. I am really surprised how immediate the movies play on XBMC (KODI), other devices have more waiting time 'working,.. working.. working' I don't why Minix didn't support the 5GHz WIFI with this device (Minix's old devices had dual band 2.4GHz and 5GHz) anyways, I prefer using Ethernet connection with all my streaming devices, although the WIFI worked equally as good.. I have not tested or trial the Window version Z64-W, but I can image that it can by used in replace of a desktop computer.

Delivery was on time quality of product and package looks great, as soon as you connect it to the network you can get the latest update by OTA which is very nice feature, just I had to do the factory reset after upgrade then it came up with latest version of Kodi, I managed to install most of the apps and add-on, the only problem I have is with PVR IPTV Client, after installation the enable is greyed out and there is no way to enable PVR IPTV Client still, I am not sure is a bug or has something to do with setting but I did some online search and found that others also have the same problem with PVR IPTV Client, I am giving 4 start just because of this issue

Delivery from Asia was amazingly quick.Product is well built & the Intel hardware is a definite strong point. 2GB of Ram ample for performance as a Kodi streaming device.Make sure to head over to the HDMI menu on the android settings to fit the screen size of the TV.Also, save yourself a lot of cursing & get a remote with keyboard & pointer device. Simple operations like copy/paste with the supplied remote are torture.Messed around with cheaper android boxes but imo they are not worth it. Money well spent with these Minix units with good hardware.

Do not buy Minix boxes. We have three of them and the company promise OTA updates. This is not true. Worst supported boxes you can buy and way over priced. I regret buying these boxes. Minix is full of excuses for not providing updates.

The Neo itself is excellent. The remote on the other hand.....plugged in a wireless Logitec keyboard/touchpad combo. Works excellent. Also works better with a 10MB/Sec or greater wireless.....since it ignores my 5G wireless, I have a 1GIG Powerline hooked up to it :)
