This replacement thermostat worked great for us, however, it didn’t solve our issue, which turned out to be the igniter. We did decide to keep this thermostat as it was inexpensive and a nice upgrade to go with the new igniter.

end of probe is too wide to install - not like original
The end of this replacement probe has wings and therefore is too wide to fit through the two holes it needs to go through. We took a metal drill bit and drilled the hole in the back panel to get it through, but then the actual inside the oven hole it needed to get through also was too small and we could not drill that out. The only good thing was that we got out the original probe from our oven and it had a number on it. We took that to a local appliance store parts department and they ordered a probe for us that was correct and fit easily.

Works Great
Package came quickly. The item looked exactly like the broken one I took out. A quick YouTube video showed me how to install it. Was a simple installation. Everything worked on the first try. A tested it against an oven thermometer and it matched the temperature to within 5 degrees.I am extremely satisfied with the product.

Doesn't quickly install
It was the proper thermostat for my range BUT the connector socket did NOT perfectly couple to the socket, which was presently on the stove. I wish this company would have provided some adapter plugs to make the installation more seamless. I had to cut the old plug off the old thermostat, take it to my electronics table and solder the old plug to the new thermostat. It works fine, but what a pain in the posterior. Just make sure that your connector matches their connector. If it doesn't, I found that Amazon does sell adapter plugs for situations like this. Ultimately, it works, but it took additional time, additional electrical expertise, and would have left me without a stove for an additional week. Just make sure your connectors match, especially with this thermostat.

Exactly what I needed
My oven suddenly didn’t get to baking heat. I did some research on YouTube and figured this might be the problem. I ordered this and a gas oven igniter. Two days later I had both parts removed and swapped out and now my oven works GREAT! Easy to install. Very pleased. Ask me any questions if you want.
