Great toy
The media could not be loaded. Bought this toy for my son when he was 1. He is now 5. He loves making new combinations with the knobs and seeing it do different actions . He still likes to play with it after 4 years . Very durable , not too loud , great value . Really got our moneys worth .

New improved Codeapillar is a hit w grandkids!
Generation two Code-a-pillar. Instead of having to switch out pieces to program directions, this new Codeapillar has a little dial on each segment. You never have to take it apart! Same bright & happy music. You can choose straight, left, right, or music for each segment. My grandkids call music segments “dance time” segments. All 4 granddaughters have had Codapillars, and all 4 have loved them. The “new” version excited my 22 month old granddaughter more than any other Christmas gift. She plays with this for a long time, setting up obstacles to go around, or tunnels for it to go through. Great toy that teaches left-right as well as rudimentary coding!

Super fun for kids
I got this for my three year old and he has a lot of fun with it. I found out that my 10 month old also really enjoys crawling after it! I would say for an older child that I wish it did more things, because I could see them getting bored with it easily. Overall I would definitely recommend it for a fun kids toy.

All the boys loved it!
I bought this for my three year old grandson and he loves it but his 12 month old brothers were very interested. They wouldn't be able to reconfigure it but the motion was attractive. The fun part of this is that by turning a few dials, children can maneuver the caterpillar to change direction, play, music, snore when it sleeps and there are a thousand combinations. What it's really doing is teaching kids to code. That's a skill they'll probably use all their lives.

This toy is awesome!
I'm an elementary technology teacher and this year preschool was added to my schedule. This has been perfect to teach them basic concepts of following directions and the definition of what an algorithm is. Also my one and two year old love playing with it at home just as a toy, and they are learning through discovery without even realizing it. Win win all around. Also I would like to know that this thing is very durable. My toddlers are like little mini WWE wrestlers, and so the Codeapillar has taken quite a few falls and still works like a charm.

Point made.
Product still wanted but useless with every word not in English! How does a child learn to use it with no instructions?
