works well
Used it for a 20 gallon long aquarium to use for a dual betta tank and it works great but be warned it is very see through and I used a black plastic mesh to keep my bettas from seeing each other

Not What I Ordered...
I just established an aquarium and wasn't sure what I wanted description wise-however picture wise this was EXACTLY what I needed to fix the problem I was having with a troublesome fish-it was also a cue I was taking from other tank owners when it came to aggressive fish. However when the product arrived it was not at all what was in the picture. Now I have this useless item that will not fit on my uniquely designed tank-however my problem is still not fixed-hopefully this company plans on making things right as I see a lot of products I wouldn't mind purchasing-but will DEFINITELY forgo if my money isn't refunded and/or a new "SPECIMEN CONTAINER" for a 15-20 gallon tank arrives at my address. Thanks.

Not the greatest divider. Baby fish/fry will escape.
It's ok for dividing bigger fish.

Maybe not for a 20 gallon tank.
I bought this with the intent of using it on my 20 gallon tank. The width was right, but the height wasn't. It does, however, fit a 10 gallon, and is where I have it now, so it wasn't a total waste for me. I just cut down the mesh material. The mesh is very see-through, so if you are dividing it for bettas, they may flare at each other a lot. You could go to a home improvement store and get some window screen material to cut to the size of your tank instead if this stresses them out to much. I already had some in the house, so I don't know how much that will put you out if you do that. Right now I just have four small albino corys in one half and a betta in the other that I may try to integrate, in which case I'll probably put this in another 10 gallon. It would probably do fine in a 15 gallon, though I don't have one so I can't really say. If you have a 20 gallon that is shorter than most, you may be fine with this.It is good at dividing - I have rocks as my substrate, so that is blocking and holding the bottom of the dividing, otherwise where it is against the sides doesn't move and is solid.

Not worth the trouble
Don't fit my 20 gallon tank and fish can get around it. Not to happy with the product.

Bettas. :)
Great for dividing a 20 long for bettas.

It's great
Is exactly as described, and the mesh can be easily cut to accommodate items you want on both sides. Very useful for my semi aquatic frogs.
