High Density Insulation Tape, Foam Tape with Adhesive- Weather Stripping, Waterproof, Door Seal, Windows, Air Conditioning, HVAC, Pipes, Adhesive Insulation Strips (White, 33Ft x 1/8” x 2”)

I like the price and the tape forms well around shapes but, it needs a heat gun to make it stick and form otherwise the tape will lift off the surface, not all but much of it. Once heat is applied and not for too long either the tape will work fine, it doesn't take much heat but it has to be hot, I also warmed up the surface the tape was being used on, windows. Make sure everything is dry then heat the surface of what it is the tape will be applied then place the tape where its needed and heat the tape to insure it sticks and forms, go back and check as some might not stick the first time. I haven't tried to take the tape off not until winter is over, I will update how well that goes but I feel confident with the heat gun it should come off fairly well. I used the tape to help keep out drafts around the windows so its on metal and glass only.

I use this tape as padding for battery compartments on my quadcopter. It's thin and flexible, and provides a nice amount of cushioning. It also has a tiny bit of (non-abrasive) friction so batteries don't slide around once they're strapped in. The adhesive on the back is incredibly strong once you press hard on it. You really have to work hard to peel it up once it's stuck down!However, it has a really neat quality where it doesn't really stick until you press it down. Until then, it has a small amount of "tackiness" that lets you move it around and position it until it's lined up. Then, you can press on it to make it stick for real.The tape doesn't like to come off in one piece as a result of the strong adhesive, but it's easily removed with some isopropyl alcohol.I'm very satisfied with its performance!

The tape needs more adhesion. When pressed hard against the top side of Gorilla tape, it still peels up at the ends. It seems to stick fine in the middle of the strip of foam, just the cut ends peel up.I’m trying to come up with a way to stick the edges down, without using nails or tacks. Maybe Scotch double sided tape?

I bought this two months before I needed it. Never opened the package. When I went to use it the adhesive was completely worthless. Would not stick to anything. Unfortunately I was trying to plan ahead and the return window was closed.

Good material but not feasible for the purpose documented in the listing. It’s better to get sponge type material if you’re planning on insulating your AC window
