The best iron I've ever had!
I think I've tried just about every make of iron - and to be honest, I've mostly been disappointed (sometimes very much so).So never having tried a Tefal, I thought I would try this one - and I wasn't expecting too much. So it was a lovely surprise when it did what it said.Once filled with water, it steams away the creases. As to the other reviews, yes - the water tank is rather dark but I have no problem seeing the 'max' level. And yes - it does get through the water rather quickly but that's only because the steam function is so good.It is relatively light, glides smoothly, is easy to fill and when on the steam setting, will steam until the tank is empty. There is also a trigger for an extra shot of steam if needs be.I can honestly say that this is the best iron I've ever used and will wholeheartedly recommend it, as to my mind it is excellent value for money.

Great iron, smooth and cost effective - but it!Very good iron! Our trusty Tefal just started dripping after 5 years so we had to replace it. I researched like mad and was nearly tempted to splash out nearly £100 for a cordless iron, then almost the same for an iron that automatically detected the fabric and set the temperature accordingly.I bought this iron because; 1. It was as close a match to the iron we'd been using for year, 2. The price was sensible and 3. We are never in any doubt what it's going to do (all settings manual and cabled).I have to say, we're not disappointed, far from it, this iron is great. It irons very smoothly, carries plenty of water and makes easy ironing of some really awkward shirts and tops (why are women's tops so hard to iron?).

Good iron for the price
My Bosch iron finally gave up the ghost. Having read several reviews I decided to try this Tefal iron.Plus points - I have small hands with some arthritis but I find this iron is lightweight with a comfortable grip. It delivers a better amount of steam than my old Bosch. It also delivers a better spray. I like the additional steam trigger feature. Ironing is smooth and I don't need to apply much, if any pressure, to achieve a good finish. Also a good price in comparison with other irons.Negative points - cable is a little short. Difficult to see where the water level is which seems a ridiculous design fault that would be easy to overcome with the use of see through plastic. All in all I would recommend.

Nice efficient iron
I was worried about buying his bit I’m so pleased. It doesn’t drip but the instructions state to use tap water not kettle water. Which I have followed. There’s a filter to clean so confident this won’t scale up like my other irons have. Light. Does a great job. Big tank do not filling up every five minutes. The tank is dark but you can see the water level okay

Good but a few issues
I was disappointed in the length of lead unless you can be right next to the socket it is hard to use. The water cap is hard to open and the edges feel sharp when you use force to open it! The button switch underneath the handle is right where you grip to hold the iron therefore almost pressing it down every time you use. This button is for extra steam. Other than all of the above it irons well and has a nice sleek design. That is all!

Has cut my ironing time down!
This iron is brilliant! Have not had one this expensive before, but it’s so worth it. I wouldn’t say it’s particularly light in weight, but it’s certainly not so heavy that it makes your arm ache while using it. It has a good “solid” feel to it and makes short work of my husband’s and grandson’s cotton shirts. It maintains a good temperature throughout and I definitely don’t spend so long ironing now.

Super Iron
My second purchased the iron the last one expired after about 5 years and this new one is just as good. There is one slight difference from the original and that is the lead is about 18 inches shorter which means having the ironing board extremely close to the electrical socket. I suppose the manufacturers are trying to save the planet or money not just being annoying.

An ok Iron..
Good iron, but not without a couple of faults. Although minor they are annoying. The lead for one is too short, I did not think to even check this before buying as my old Philips iron has a good length lead. Having a built in iron board in my kitchen work unit, the lead does not reach the nearest plug socket, I now have to use an extension lead to operate! Also, as other reviews, the difficulty in seeing the water level, shake, shake, tip, tip, finally getting a glimpse of the level. But the iron works extremely well overall.
