Q: Is this rubix cube magnetic?

Yes, and it has excellent magnets! They snap nicely and have a nice hold, better than my GAN.

Q: Does this lose 'sync' if you make moves with the cube when it's not connected? Or once it connects does it 'know' the configuration?

Yes, once the GoCube is no longer synced, you will have to follow steps to get the cube back to a configured state. It is very easy to get it back in sync. Hope that helps.

Q: Does solving this cube feels like solving a professional cube? My girlfriend is used to solve cubes in ~15 seconds. Will she profit from this cube?

She might enjoy using it for competition within the connected app but if she's already a speed cuber I wouldn't buy it for her without checking with her first. Speed cubers are pretty particular about their cubes.
